Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Also, his stuffed toy, a teddy bear, was featured prominently throughout the series. Which TV series was being described here?

Answer: Mr. Bean

Mr. Bean always wore the same outfit- a brown suit, a white shirt, a red tie and dark brown trousers. The first episode of the show, entitled "Mr. Bean", was originally broadcast in the UK on Jan 1, 1990. The final episode entitled "Hair by Mr. Bean of London", was broadcast on Nov 15, 1995.

The show was a huge success and it even inspired the spin-off of the animated version of "Mr. Bean", which was released in 2002.
2. This American drama series originally aired on ABC from 2004 to 2010 and spanned a total of six seasons with 121 episodes, featured the famous twin brothers Jacob and The Man in Black. The former always wore white or light-colored shirts while the latter was often seen wearing black or dark clothes. Later, a plane crashed on the island and a series of strange events happened one after another. Which TV series was this?

Answer: Lost

The character of Jacob was portrayed by the actor Mark Pellegrino while Titus Welliver played The Man in Black. Both Jacob and The Man in Black were born on the island. A plane, Oceanic 815, flying from Sydney to Los Angeles, crashed on the island. Among the survivors were Jack, John Locke, Kate, Charlie, Sayid, Hurley, Claire, Sun, Jin and others. A series of strange events took place on the island, prompting the survivors to investigate further and find out the ultimate truth. "Lost" was noted for the use of flashback, flash-forward and sideflash as its story-telling technique.

The first episode of "Lost", entitled "Pilot" was broadcast on Sept 22, 2004. The very first scene featured one of the main characters, Jack (portrayed by Matthew Fox) lying on his back in a bamboo forest. Chris Carabott wrote on tv.ign.com, "Jack's final resting place, in the same bamboo forest where the series started, was fitting. It was appropriate for everything to come full circle and for the series to end where it had started."
