1. How old is Calvin in the comic strip?

Answer: 6

"Calvin & Hobbes" was created by Bill Watterson and distributed by Universal Press Syndicate. Calvin is a young boy with a big imagination.
2. Who is Hobbes?

Answer: A stuffed toy

When no one is around Calvin's imagination brings Hobbes, a stuffed tiger, to life and he becomes Calvin's best friend.
3. Is the 'Calvin & Hobbes" cartoon strip still being written?

Answer: No

If you are in the right place you can still read it in some newspapers, but only in syndication.
4. In what other media was "Calvin & Hobbes" available when Mr. Watterson was still writing?

Answer: Several books of strips were released

Mr. Watterson kept strict control of his characters. He could have made millions off of a Hobbes stuffed animal, but chose not to.

Answer: A 16th century theologian

This 16th century Calvin believed that everything that happened was predestined.

Calvin's mom was always the disciplinarian in the family, his dad basically just rolled with the flow and got annoyed at some of Calvin's capers.

Anytime he could do something to set her off he would. I think deep down he liked her very much.

She could snap him out of it very quickly. Usually with a question that Calvin couldn't answer because he wasn't paying attention.

Answer: Rosalyn his babysitter

Rosalyn sent blind terror running through Calvin's veins, Hobbes was scared of her as well

Answer: Moe

As hard as he tried, Moe took as much as he gave out to Calvin. Usually, Calvin could outsmart him.
