At "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View, it was Heidenreich and Road Warrior Animal defeating Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions when Road Warrior Animal pinned Joey Mercury after both Road Warrior Animal and Heidenreich gave Joey Mercury "The Doomsday Device".

The rivalry between these two superstars was dropped and they found new superstars to start a rivalry with a few nights later on "Smackdown".

Orlando Jordan was facing Chris Benoit with the WWE United States Championship on the line. This match came about when Orlando Jordan kept screwing Chris Benoit out of his title matches and eventually defeated Chris Benoit to become the new WWE United States Championship on "Smackdown" a few weeks earlier. Orlando Jordan defeated Chris Benoit to retain the WWE United States Championship after he sent Chris Benoit face first into the exposed turnbuckle and then followed up with a "School Boy Roll-up".

Then at "Summerslam" 2005 a month later, it was Chris Benoit defeating Orlando Jordan for the WWE United States Championship. He won in 46 seconds after a "Crippler Crossface" causing Orlando Jordan to submit. The rivalry then ended a few weeks after "Summerslam".

Answer: Number One Contenders Match

This match was personal between Undertaker and Muhammad Hassan. A few nights before the Pay Per View, Muhammad Hassan had a bunch of terrorists come to the ring to attack Undertaker. This didn't settle well with the television station that "Smackdown" was being shown on and they took off the character of Muhammad Hassan. Undertaker won this match after a "Chokeslam" to Muhammad Hassan.

Then after the match, Undertaker gave Muhammad Hassan a "Last Ride" through the stage. Muhammad Hassan was never seen again as a character in the "WWE". Muhammad Hassan was sent down to "OVW", which is the developmental territory of the "WWE", but was later released all together from the company.

Answer: Psicosis pinned Stevie Richards

This match didn't have much advertising involved because it wasn't a big match that was taking place at "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View. Psicosis picked up the victory for his team by pinning Stevie Richards after a "Diving Leg Drop". A few days later, it was The Blue Meanie vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a No Holds Barred Match. John "Bradshaw" Layfield won after a "Closeline from Hell".

The Blue Meanie was then said to be in the hospital with serious internal injuries, which was a way for them to take off The Blue Meanie character out of the storylines and away from the company because the gimmick has failed and was no longer needed.

Eddie Guerrero had a dirty little secret on Rey Mysterio and more specifically his son, Dominick. If Eddie Guerrero lost at "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View, he would not be able to tell Rey Mysterio's secret. If he won, then he could tell the secret right after the match ended. Rey Mysterio won the match after a "Small Package".

A few nights later on "Smackdown", Eddie Guerrero spilled the beans and told the secret to the entire world. The secret was that Eddie Guerrero is the biological father of Rey Mysterio's son, Dominick. Eddie Guerrero said that he is the real biological father and that he gave Dominick to Rey Mysterio when he was struggling with his drug addiction.

At "Summerslam" 2005, Rey Mysterio won a Ladder Match against Eddie Guerrero to keep custody of Dominick.

The storyline then stopped suddenly when Eddie Guerrero turned babyface (good) and started feuding with Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

This match was made between Melina vs. Torrie Wilson in a Bra and Panties Match a week before "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View. It came about when Melina attacked Torrie Wilson backstage and ripped off her shirt and pants, stripping her into her bra and panties.

Then it was announced that they'll face each other at "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View in a Bra and Panties Match and the referee for the match would be Candice Michelle. At "The Great American Bash" 2005 Pay Per View, Melina won the match after stripping Torrie Wilson into her bra and panties.

After the match, Candice Michelle attacked Melina and stripped her into her bra and panties. Then, Candice Michelle stripped herself into her bra and panties for the crowd and threw her shirt and pants into the crowd.

This match was made right after the "Vengeance" 2005 Pay Per View. John "Bradshaw" Layfield guarenteed that he would walk away the winner of the match. He was right as he won the match via disqualification, but Batista retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as the title cannot change hands on a disqualification or count out. Batista was disqualified after attacking John "Bradshaw" Layfield with a steel chair.

At "Summerslam" 2005 in a month, it was Batista vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a No Holds Barred Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Batista won that match after pinning John "Bradshaw" Layfield after a "Batista Bomb" onto the steel steps.
