The book was a bestseller and a movie based on it was released in 2012 which starred Emma Watson, Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman. It was directed by Stephen Chobsky.

A bong is an apparatus that is used to smoke marijuana or tobacco. It is also called a waterpipe or moof. The water in the bong filters the smoke.

Michael Phelps, an American swimmer, was photographed smoking a bong and this triggered outrage from social media. He was suspended from competitive swimming for three months and also had his financial support withdrawn. Sponsors like Kellogg's withdrew their endorsements. Phelps later formally apologized and acknowledged his mistake publicly. Most sponsors accepted his apology and continued with him. He then went on to become one of greatest ever Olympians in history of histories! He continues to advocate against drugs.

Remember, doing drugs have dire consequences. Lives have been destroyed and reputations have been damaged.

The Truth is a character from 'GTA: San Andreas' who is an old guy living on a marijuana farm. He is a friend of Carl Johnson (CJ), the game's protagonist. In the mission 'Are You Going to San Fierro', the cops arrive at the farm and The Truth asks CJ to help him burn the entire farm down before the cops come. He tosses CJ a flamethrower for this purpose.
