WWE "King Of The Ring" 2002 Trivia Quiz

Rob Van Dam faced off againt Chris Jericho in the first "King Of The Ring" Semi-Final Match. However, Chris Jericho lost to Rob Van Dam when RVD knocked him down and hit Jericho with the "Five Star Frog Splash', then pinned him for the win. RVD advanced to the "King Of The Ring" finals.

Test faced off against Brock Lesnar in the second "King Of The Ring" Semi-Final Match. Test fought hard, but was unable to defeat the unstoppable Lesnar. Lesnar pinned Test after giving him the "F5". Lesnar advanced onto the "King Of The Ring" finals.

Answer: The Hurricane

Jamie Noble, accompanied to the ring by Nidia, faced off against The Hurricane for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The Hurricane fought terrifically against Noble, and at one point even chokeslammed the Southerner. However, Noble proved to be a little too much for the mighty superhero. Noble gave The Hurricane a "Powerbomb" and pinned him for the win and the championship.

After the match, Nidia and Noble kissed in the ring.

Nidia, the first "Tough Enough" female champion has a storyline that goes between The Hurricane and Jamie Noble. The Hurricane dumped her, according to the storyline, and because she was dumped, Nidia has her new boyfriend, Jamie Noble, going after the superhero.

Answer: Eddie Guerrero

Terri started out asking Eddie about his match with Ric Flair, but Eddie cut her off and said he needed to say hi to his family first. Then Eddie said that he was in the best shape of his career and Flair couldn't do the moves that he can.

Answer: Flair

Eddie Guerrero faced off against Ric Flair. This match was supposed to originally be Eddie facing off Steve Austin, but since Austin walked out on the WWE, Eddie faced Flair at this match. Eddie had total advantage over Flair, even at one point putting Flair in the "Figure Four Leg Lock".

Then Eddie tried to do the "Frog Splash", but was unable to when Flair knocked him off the ropes. Flair then put Guerrero in the "Figure Four Leg Lock", but Eddie refused to submit.

Answer: Chris Benoit and Bubba Ray Dudley

As Eddie was getting his second wind in the match against Flair, Benoit came walking to the ring. At first he was just standing outside the ring, but when Eddie threw Flair out of the ring Benoit pounced on Flair, giving him the "Cripple Crossface", out of site of the referee, who was distracted by Eddie.

When the referee realized what was happening, he made Benoit leave ringside, actually walking Benoit up the ramp to assure that he was really leaving. While this was happening, Bubba Ray Dudley sneaked into the ring via the audience and proceeded to give Eddie the "Bubba Bomb". With Eddie unconscious, Flair crawled into the ring and laid himself on top of Eddie.

Then the referee came in and counted to three, allowing to Flair to win.

WWE Women's Champion, Trish Stratus, faced off against Molly Holly For the WWE Women's Championship. Unfortunately, Trish lost when Molly pinned her by way of holding Trish's pants.

Answer: Marc Loyd

Marc Loyd tried to interview Kurt Angle, but all Angle kept talking about was how he was an American hero because he earned it. Angle then said that Hulk Hogan was and will never be an American hero. Angle said that Vince McMahon told Hogan he would be an icon one day, but as Angle said, Hulk really was never an American hero.

Answer: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle faced off against Hulk Hogan. Hogan fought well, but not as good as Angle. Angle put Hogan in the "Ankle Lock" and made Hogan tap out, therefore defeating Hogan by submission.

Answer: The Rock

Goldust was talking to Booker T backstage and he was impersonating The Rock. Rock walked up and told Goldust to stop it. Then The Rock told Booker that he meant what he said the week before on "Raw".

Answer: Brock Lesnar and Rob Van Dam

Brock Lesnar, accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman, faced off against Rob Van Dam in the "King of the Ring" Tournament Final. Lesnar won when he gave Van Dam the "F5" and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Triple H

As Triple H was on his way to the ring for his match against The Undertaker, he met up with the nWo. Triple H and Shawn Michaels hugged and said it was good to see each other again, and Triple H and Kevin Nash hugged. Then Nash told Triple H that if he needs them for the match that they will be there.

Answer: The Undertaker

The Undertaker faced off against Triple H for the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Triple H fought extremely well, but he was no match for the brute strength of The Undertaker.

Answer: The Rock

As Taker was destroying Triple H, the match moved to the outside of the ring. The Rock was sitting at the announce table when The Undertaker assaulted him. Then The Rock went after Taker with a chair, but inadvertently hit Triple H with it. Then things got real crazy. Because the referee was hurting, he could make the three count when Triple H had Taker pinned.

But as soon as Taker pinned Triple H the referee counted to three. After the match, The Rock gave Take a "Spinbuster" and then gave him the "People's Elbow".

As The Rock tried to help Triple H up, The Rock was given the "Pedigree". Then as "The King Of The Ring" went off the air The Undertaker stood tall and held the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship over his head.
