WWE "Raw" February 24, 2003 Trivia Quiz

Answer: The Rock

As "Raw" began, Eric Bischoff, wearing a cast on his left forearm and sunglasses, limped to the ring. He advised the fans that Stone Cold Steve Austin was banned from the arena, due to the beating that he gave Bischoff. Eric then said that it was his honor to introduce to "Raw," the greatest wrestler of all time...The Rock.

The Rock came to the ring and talked trash to the Toronto fans, blaming them for his new attitude, and issuing a challenge to Austin for the following week.

Answer: Girls Gone Wild; Maven

Test showed Maven a video of "Girls Gone Wild," saying that Stacy had no idea what GGW stood for. The video showed girls showing how wild they could be, and Test was there because he had to pick the 'wildest girl.' Maven left when Stacy entered the dressing room, and seemed a little upset at Test.

The twosome was talking when Sean Morely, the chief of staff, entered the room and told them that because they laughed at Bischoff at "No Way Out" that they would be facing Chris Jericho and Christian in a match later in the evening.

Answer: Trish Stratus

Jazz faced off against Jacqueline to see who would get a shot at the WWE Women's Championship. Unfortunately for Jacqueline, Jazz pinned her for the win. After the match, Trish Stratus, Toronto's favorite daughter, ran to the ring and assaulted Jazz. Several referees were called in to break the two ladies up.

Answer: Goldust

Jim Ross interviewed Goldust. Goldust was electrocuted three weeks before, and according to him, the doctors said that he suffered some neurological damage, and he doesn't know if could be reversed.

Answer: Kane

Lance Storm, accompanied to the ring by William Regal, faced off against Kane, who was accompanied to the ring by Rob Van Dam. Storm tried desperately to reverse Kane's mask, but he was unsuccessful. Kane hit Storm with two "Chokeslams" and pinned him for the win.

By the way, have you ever noticed that when Kane comes to the ring and the ringposts ignite before the match, that he always loses? However, if he enters the ring and ringposts don't ignite that he wins the match, and that after the he wins the posts ignite.

Answer: Booker T and Scott Steiner

Booker T and Scott Steiner faced off against Randy Orton and Batista. Booker was kept from tagging in Steiner, but made up for at the end when he reversed Orton's pin and won.

Answer: She was placed in "The Walls of Jericho."

Test and Stacy Kiebler faced off against Chris Jericho and Christian. Test vowed to Stacy that he would protect her, and that he would do all the work. However, his plans were tossed out the window when Jericho handcuffed him to the bottom rope and Stacy was placed in "The Walls of Jericho." After the match, and mainly because Jericho refused to release Stacy, Jeff Hardy ran to the ring in her defense, but he was given the "Unprettier" by Christian. Then Shawn Michaels ran to the ring and broke the "Walls," and gave Jericho some "Sweet Chin Music."

As the ring cleared, Jeff remained and was met by Chris Nowinski for their match. Jeff won the match, but when he became too vicious, the referee reversed his decision and awarded the match to Nowinski.

Answer: The Scorpion King

The Rock was in his dressing room, talking to his wife Dany. He told her he had to go, so he could get ready for the Battle Royal. He then grabbed his guitar and sang a song, which bashed Canadians. The Hurricane then entered The Rock's room unannounced.

The Rock asked "who in the green hell are you?" and then answered his own question by saying that The Hurricane was the Hamburglar. A heated discussion ensued, with The Hurricane saying that there was one superhero he could defeat. The Rock asked who, and Hurricane said The Scorpion King.

The Rock looked shocked and said that The Hurricane couldn't defeat The Scorpion King. The Hurricane said Brendan Fraser did and so could he. The Rock exclaimed that that was only special effects.

Answer: The Dudley Boyz

Jerry "The King" Lawler faced off against chief of staff Sean Morely. "The King" gave Morely a good match, but Morely was more powerful. It wasn't until The Dudley Boyz showed up unannounced, via the audience, that Morely was given his just dessert. The Dudleys gave him a "3D," and "The King" finished him off by jumping off the top rope and hitting him with his fist. "The King" then pinned him for the win.

Answer: Booker T

The main event of the evening was a Battle Royal, consisting of 20 wrestlers. The winner of the Royal would face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at "Wrestlemania."

The contestants were: Jericho, Rosey, Jamal, Rob Van Dam, Test, The Hurricane, Booker T, Kane, The Rock, Randy Orton, Batista, Maven, Lance Storm, Christian, Al Snow, Scott Steiner, Steven Richards, Jeff Hardy, Tommy Dreamer, and Rodney Mack.

After 16 wrestlers were eliminated, the remaining four were Kane, The Rock, Booker T, and Christian. The Rock eliminated Kane and Christian, and Booker T eliminated The Rock.
