This was a great way to open the show. Both Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens left it all on the line, physically, by crashing through tables and chairs with an added mix of high risk maneuvers from the top rope. Ambrose seized the moment and pushed Owens from behind, flipping him off of the top rope and through two stacked tables for the victory.

The trombone has become an integral portion of The New Day and their successes. During the pre-match video package, Chris Jericho is shown breaking Woods' first trombone, Francesca. Kofi Kingston and Big E appeared at the entrance ramp, asking the WWE Universe to bow their heads for a moment of silence for their fallen friend (trombone). Woods appeared from behind the curtain playing a new trombone, dubbed Francesca II.

He also quipped the line "I can't mourn forever; A brother's got needs!"

The New Day successfully defended their titles with an interesting ending to the match. Big E made a blind tag to Kofi Kingston and caught Jey Uso in midair to deliver "The Big Ending" and scored the pinfall victory.

This turned out to be a very good match as both competitors have good chemistry when they are in the ring. Alberto Del Rio attempted to remove the mask from Kalisto at one point in the match, but it was all for naught as Kalisto hit a second "Salida Del Sol" to secure his second reign as WWE United States Champion.

Answer: Charlotte via Pinfall

The dirtiest player in the game, Ric Flair, made his presence felt during this match. Becky Lynch seemingly had the Divas Championship won with Charlotte locked in the "Dis-Arm-Her" when Ric through his sports jacket onto Lynch's face, breaking the hold. This allowed Charlotte to follow up and score the pinfall victory to retain the championship.

Answer: "The Boss" Sasha Banks

After being absent from TV for the past few weeks, Sasha Banks returned to a loud ovation from the WWE Universe. She applied her submission hold "The Bank Statement" to Charlotte after the match, forcing a tap out and fortifying her position to challenge for the WWE Divas Championship in the coming weeks.

Answer: AJ Styles

"The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles made his WWE debut to a loud ovation from the WWE Universe. He remained active in the match for a significant period of time, allowing fans to see what all of his hype was about. Styles was eliminated by Kevin Owens later in the match, which could set up a feud moving forward.

Answer: R-Truth

A great comedy piece to ease some of the high tension in this match. All of the WWE Superstars in the ring stood by and watched as R-Truth climbed the ladder and grabbed for the missing prize at the top. R-Truth was quickly eliminated after this stunt, but will go down in history as one of the top comedic moments.

Answer: Triple H

In what seemed to be insurmountable odds against Roman Reigns, he put up a valiant battle but was eliminated as the second to last competitor. Triple H surprised the WWE Universe entering at #30 and claimed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the fourteenth time in his career, eliminating Dean Ambrose to secure the victory.
