In the episode 'Eye for an Eye', after putting pranks on each other, Vlad runs for mayor to win the challenge. He credits Danny Fenton with 'inspiring him to run for mayor', and blames Danny Phantom for bringing ghosts into town instead of getting rid of them.

In the end, Danny pretends to get zapped by Vlad's gun and they both tie. As Danny once said.... "There is one problem though...in every tie, there is bound to be a rematch."

Finally, here comes Sam. Danny's true crush. He liked her all along but they called him 'Clueless One' for a reason. He never realized that except when Sam started dating that other guy named Gregor (or that's what we thought his name was) in the episode 'Double Cross My Heart'. In the events of 'Phantom Planet', Sam confessed her love to Danny first, afraid if this was the last time she'd ever see him again. He expresses his feellings too in a true love kiss. And that was his girl.

Danny's father is called Jack, so he is named after his father. Add that to Danny Fenton and you'll get: Danny Jack Fenton or Daniel Jack Fenton. That's Jazz's name too, just replace Daniel with Jasmine and Danny with Jazz and voila!

In the episode, Spectra sends the ghost bugs to bite all (or most) of Casper High's students to absorb each of their specialty in her new body. However, Tucker managed to escape. Danny went to check out the freaky hospital (that contains every student that got bitten) to make sure it's safe. What surprised him is that the ghost bugs gave them ghost powers they can't control, and they will melt in pieces after Spectra absorbs their specialty. Danny was kidnapped by Spectra inside the hospital, and Tucker managed to free him by facing his fear and going into a hospital.

In that episode, a new ghost that can change into any form was causing catastrophe by transforming into anyone or thing he wants. But then he saw Danny ruin his plans by saving the people who were about to sink. So he decided to morph into Danny. Due to an accident with the Fenton's latest invention, Danny was stuck in Phantom form and Amorpho was stuck in Danny Fenton's form. Experiencing the hybrid's pain through life, he teams up with Danny to solve this mess. Meanwhile, Tucker and Sam are trying to distract the Fentons because they think Phantom is after Danny, by distracting they dressed up like Danny and pretended to hide their face because Phantom ruined his face.
