"Goosebumps- Don't Go To Sleep" Part 2 Quiz

Answer: Lacie

Lacie is a junior high girl with blonde hair. Matt runs out of the high school, thinking that he is going to get beat up, and he doesn't realize Lacie walking by until he bumps into her. They introduce each other after Matt apologizes, but then he runs away after seeing Mrs. McNabb, the principal, walking out. Luckily, Matt manages to run down the street before Mrs. McNabb spots him.

He then proceeds to go home and watch television until Pam and Greg get home.

Answer: 11 and 12

Matt is outraged seeing Pam and Greg younger than he is. In the normal universe, Pam and Greg are 15 and 16. Matt tells the reader that if he is 16, Pam and Greg should be 19 and 20. He, at first, thinks Greg did something to make Matt older and himself younger.

Unfortunately, everyone acts as if the alternate reality is normal. Matt tries telling his mom, but she dismisses it as a story.

Answer: Matt has his real family

Matt isn't happy to see two new parents, especially a father, since Matt's real father has been dead since Matt's infancy. After skipping school, he goes back home and dials his family's numbers. He first calls his uncle Andy's number, but someone else answers. Matt assumes that he might have dialed wrong.

He tries the number again, but the same man answers. After Matt asks if Andy is there, the man tells Matt that there isn't an Andy at his residence. Matt then calls the operator, but she doesn't find anybody under the surname Amsterdam.

After trying to call his cousin Chris, Matt realizes that his real family isn't in this reality.

Answer: Overpopulation

Lacie explains this to Matt after they introduce each other in this reality. Matt lies, or doesn't lie, to Lacie about having lunch at 8:30 a.m. They eat outside by the playground. Matt checks his lunch bag and sees that his alternate mom packed him a baloney and ketchup sandwich, a bag full of carrots and vanilla pudding for dessert. Matt hates everything in his lunch bag. Lacie then gives Matt a cupcake.

Answer: The house is a lot noisier than usual

Matt hears somebody playing an accordion, and finds out that he is in a circus family. In this family, aside from parents, he has six brothers and sisters and a pet monkey named Pansy. Matt states that he never liked the circus, even when he was little. Two of his sisters practice a trapeze routine, while Matt realizes that he will have to ride a lion named Hercules, as his dad is the lion tamer.

Answer: He sees that his arms and hands are green

Matt notices this after waking up and rubbing his eyes, and feeling really strong. At least he doesn't have a family to deal with. Matt narratively states that a family full of monsters would have been a real nightmare. He accidentally terrorizes the neighborhood, particularly after trying to tell people not to be afraid and his roaring scares them.

Answer: She gives him to the two guys in black

One of the guys in black thanks Lacie for doing her job. Matt furiously tries to escape, but a net gets thrown over him. He tries asking Lacie why she betrayed him to the guys in black, but he can only roar. He tries biting the net to cut it open, but is unsuccessful because the net is made out of some strange material.

Answer: His triggering a reality warp

Lacie explains that when Matt went to sleep in his guest room, he fell into a reality hole, causing him to change his body and reality anytime he sleeps in the guest room. The guys in black, whose names are Bruce and Wayne, threaten to beat him up, but Lacie tells them not to.

She then explains to Matt that every time he keeps changing reality, he throws the world into confusion. Lacie then tells him that she, Bruce and Wayne are members of an elite squad known as the Reality Police, whose job is to keep reality under control.

She says that they'll have to put Matt to sleep forever so he won't keep breaking the reality law. Matt protests that they can't do that, to which Bruce and Wayne say that they can and will.

Answer: Pam

Pam sees the squirrel first, then Biggie notices and starts barking, as Matt states that Biggie loves to chase squirrels. Mrs. Amsterdam tells Pam not to let Matt the squirrel in, explaining that squirrels might have rabies. Matt tries to get back to his own room, without luck since his bedroom door is shut.

Answer: His mom allows Matt to have the guest room

At school, Matt sees someone whom he thinks is Lacie, then turns around to run, but realizes that it's another girl with blonde hair. She grins at Matt and walks away. Matt feels relieved, then walks to his last class. After getting home, Matt finds out his mom took the day off from work and moved his room to the guest room and that she turned Matt's old room into a storage closet.

She then proceeds to show him that the guest room is now his. Matt then starts screaming.
