At the beginning of every episode, it showed two astronauts removing the lid of Rita's chamber. She emerged and shouted, "Ah! After ten thousand years I'm free. It's time to conquer Earth!" Next we saw Zordon calling on the Power Rangers for help.

The original five rangers were: Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Billy. Tommy was sent to Earth by Rita as the evil green ranger in the "Green With Evil" episodes. Tommy finally joined the other Power Rangers. His dinosaur power was the Dragonzord. Tommy was also the white ranger in the second season and the red ranger in "Power Rangers Zeo" and "Power Rangers Turbo".

The Power Rangers used the Ultrazord on only the toughest monsters. When the Ultrazord was made, the middle part of the Dragonzord was removed, and the Megazord fit under its remaining arms and head. They both fit down inside the carrier Zord, Titanus.

The White Tiger was not used until the second season. Pyramidus was the Zeo version of the Ultrazord. Jason owned it as the gold ranger. There was not a stegosaurus Zord as far as I know.

The Samurai Fan Man put up a good fight, but he was no match to the Ultrazord. Pudgy Pig and the Spit Flower were destroyed when the Power Rangers put together their weapons to create one blaster. Although I don't remember much about Bones, I do know that the episode "High Five" was before Tommy joined the show. Without Tommy, there was no Dragonzord to complete the Ultrazord. Bones was a creepy skeleton wearing a hat and trench coat with a long sword. Bones was also the boss in the first level of the video game.

Finster was the creator of all the monsters. Ivan Ooze did not show up until "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie". He actually dethroned Rita and Lord Zedd and took over. King Sphinx was just a regular monster. He was sent to challenge Jason in the episode "A Pressing Engagement". I have no idea why the Power Rangers books always had King Sphinx with Goldar, Squatt, and Baboo, because he was not a regular on the show. King Mondo was the villian in the Zeo episodes.

Blue ranger Billy was the brains behind the Power Rangers. Billy stayed with the Power Rangers through the second season as well. In the Zeo episodes he worked at the Command Center with Zordon.

In the two-part episode "Return of an Old Friend", the rangers invited their parents to school for a special parents day. However, Rita had plans of her own. She captured all the parents in another dimension. At the end of the first part, Goldar made an agreement with the rangers: their parents would be set free if they gave him their power coins.

The rangers gladly gave Goldar their coins. In the second part, Zordon sacrificed his own power to give Tommy power. Tommy gained back his power and fought Goldar for the power coins. Tommy successfully returned to the Command Center.

The rangers had another problem to deal with now. They had to defeat Rita's latest monster, a horrible mole called the Drammole. The rangers finally assembled the Ultrazord to put the Drammole back under the ground for good.

Their parents were returned to the school youth center, and they remembered nothing of the incident.

Trini brought her doll collection to school for hobby week in "For Whom the Bell Trolls". That night Squatt broke into Trini's house and transformed Trini's favorite doll, Mr. Ticklesneezer, into Rita's new monster! The next day, Mr. Ticklesneezer trapped Trini and Billy in his magic collection bottle.

When he was fighting the rangers, he didn't really mean any harm. Finally Trini woke up. She had been dreaming about Mr. Ticklesneezer and nothing had ever happened.
