Orville and Wilbur Wright constructed and flew the first successful airplane. They did this at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17th, 1903. The Righteous Brothers were an American singing group from the 1960s. The Brothers Grimm were 19th century German authors of folk and fairy tales. And last, but certainly not least, the Ringling Brothers were seven American brothers who owned and ran one of the largest circuses in the world in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Answer: Chuck Yeager

On October 14, 1947, Chuck Yeager became the first person to break the sound barrier. This means he was the first person to travel faster than the speed of sound. When someone/something breaks the sound barrier it makes a loud noise called a sonic boom. An example of this is thunder.

When lightning strikes, it is going faster than the speed of sound and the loud noise that follows a few seconds later is actually a sonic boom that we call thunder.

She was blessed with a companion/teacher, by the name of Anne Sullivan, who helped her to achieve this success. At this time in history, those who were blind and deaf, or with other disabilities were often sent to institutions where no one attempted to educate them.
