Question 1 of 10
1. First off, when are we going to hold the banquet? I think that maybe it should be in the summer. This way, we can hold an outdoor feast. Let's make sure we pick a day that won't be overshadowed by another event. Which day would be best? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. We should decide where we'll be holding the banquet next. I'd suggest that the shores of Mystery Island would be exotic, but too sandy. Another good idea would be in the coliseum in Altador, but then again, the stadium is frequently used. How about we just have it at King Hagan's place? Where does King Hagan reign? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Who will sit at the head of the table? A Jubjub? A Grarrl? I think that maybe the seat should be reserved for a guest of the highest honour, like the Faerie queen herself. What is the name of the Faerie Queen, who reigns over Faerieland and Neopia? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. For starters, I suggest that we serve some Lost Desert fare. The Lost Desert is home to many unique fruits and vegetables (and many sand-covered foods as well) that guests would be delighted to begin their meal with. Which of these would not be a possible starter? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. For our entrées, I suggest we serve some cheese. Meridell's Cheeserollers would be happy to roll some cheese over to the banquet. Which of these cheeses is not likely to appear as an entrée? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. For our drink selection, we decided to dive deep and ask the chefs at the famous restaurant, Kelp, down in Maraqua. With many expensive and exotic drinks, our guests will probably be delighted. Which of these will not be on our drink menu? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Now for the main course! In this case, we go to the Gourmet Food Club to serve up the most delectable dishes that Neopia has to offer. Which of these is not served during the main course? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. What's a dinner without a show? To perform during our main course, we have booked the Neopian Philharmonic who will play some of the most popular Neopian classical music of the past years. Where does the Neopian Philharmonic usually perform? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Our desserts are coming from two of the most popular dessert locations on or off of Neopia. The first is Grundo's Café. For this final course, guests will be served some of the best treats in the galaxy. What's not going to be served during this course? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. The second location with the spotlight during the desserts course is Terror Mountain which is home to numerous wintry treats. Since the last of the food is coming from Terror Mountain, which of these is not going to be eaten (or drank) during this final course? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. First off, when are we going to hold the banquet? I think that maybe it should be in the summer. This way, we can hold an outdoor feast. Let's make sure we pick a day that won't be overshadowed by another event. Which day would be best?

Answer: June 21

Not only is June 21st the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere, but there are no major events held on this day. July 29th wouldn't work out too well because it was the day that the Neopets Staff released the Ruki to the world. August 20th would also be a bad day for the banquet.

After all, UsukiCon, the International Usuki Convention occurs on this date and many Neopians will be scrambling to collect some Usukis! September 15th would also be a bad date for the feast. Neopets will be too full of Chocolate on that date; it's the Annual Chocolate Ball! That settles it. June 21st, the first day of summer. That's when we'll have our banquet.

Answer: Brightvale

King Hagan the Wise is the ruler of the quaint Kingdom of Brightvale, and our banquet will be held in Brightvale Castle. Meridell and Roo Island are also ruled by monarchs. Meridell is ruled by grumpy old King Skarl who frequently sits in his throne in Meridell Castle while Roo Island is ruled by King Roo himself. King Roo is most known for being involved in the popular game of chance, "Dice-A-Roo".
3. Who will sit at the head of the table? A Jubjub? A Grarrl? I think that maybe the seat should be reserved for a guest of the highest honour, like the Faerie queen herself. What is the name of the Faerie Queen, who reigns over Faerieland and Neopia?

Answer: Fyora

Fyora, the Faerie queen, can be found anywhere in Neopia because she will give you quests (much like other Faeries). Fyora can also be found in the mysterious Hidden Tower in Faerieland, where she'll sell Neopia's most elusive and powerful items. Taelia is the Snow Faerie from the top of Terror Mountain, Jhudora is the Dark Faerie who lives on her cloud in Faerieland, and Illusen is also a Faerie who hands out quests.

She can be found in her glade in Meridell.
4. For starters, I suggest that we serve some Lost Desert fare. The Lost Desert is home to many unique fruits and vegetables (and many sand-covered foods as well) that guests would be delighted to begin their meal with. Which of these would not be a possible starter?

Answer: Muntando Fruit

Muntando Fruit is a Mystery Island Cooking Pot creation, and because of this, it's not going to be a starter. To create this item, you need to mix Krakuberries and a Green Juppie. The other three fruits listed are all from the Lost Desert. The Tchea Fruit is the most common since it's sold cheap at Sakhmet City and it's commonly won from the Fruit Machine. According to its description, the blue bits of the Tchea fruit taste like banana, and the yellow bits taste like blueberry.

Other fruits that we should serve during the starters course should include Sakhmetian Grapes, Ummagine, Chomato, Cheops Plant, Pyrapple, and Pleto Melon.
5. For our entrées, I suggest we serve some cheese. Meridell's Cheeserollers would be happy to roll some cheese over to the banquet. Which of these cheeses is not likely to appear as an entrée?

Answer: Altadorian Sun Cheese

Altadorian Sun Cheese is only bought at the Exquisite Ambrosia in Altador, therefore Meridell's world-famous Cheeserollers will not be able to roll it over to our banquet in nearby Brightvale. These cheeses that will be used range in tastes and costs, and many are extremely odd.

For example, diners may be eating Brain Cheese or Gooey Snot Cheese. Then again, guests may want to stick with the traditional Peppermint Cheese or Quadruple Fudge Cheese. Sadly, there are no traditional flavours to be found; unless you're into Tyrannian Dung Cheese. Anybody?
6. For our drink selection, we decided to dive deep and ask the chefs at the famous restaurant, Kelp, down in Maraqua. With many expensive and exotic drinks, our guests will probably be delighted. Which of these will not be on our drink menu?

Answer: Spirit Of The Ruins Fizz

Spirit Of The Ruins Fizz is actually a beverage commonly bought in the Qasalan Delights shop in the Lost Desert. The Kelp restaurant is commonly known as one of the more expensive dining experiences in Neopia. Its limited seating capacity and high prices make it a popular attraction in Maraqua, and many guests leave with a full stomach and an empty wallet. Guests can choose from a vast menu with items costing upwards of 10,000NP. If they're lucky, patrons can take some of the delicious meal home with them.
7. Now for the main course! In this case, we go to the Gourmet Food Club to serve up the most delectable dishes that Neopia has to offer. Which of these is not served during the main course?

Answer: Cream of Tchea Soup

The Gourmet Food Club is comprised of Neopets which have gained points for eating foods with a rarity between 90 and 100. With more than 750 rare foods, our main course menu could be extensive, but we have to remember, some of these are retired. Cream of Tchea Soup is the only one of these which isn't going to be on the main course (maybe a starter?) because it has a rarity of 78.

The Tchea is a fruit from the Lost Desert.
8. What's a dinner without a show? To perform during our main course, we have booked the Neopian Philharmonic who will play some of the most popular Neopian classical music of the past years. Where does the Neopian Philharmonic usually perform?

Answer: Tyrannia

Like the other popular musicians and bands of Neopia, the Philharmonic will perform at the Tyrannian Concert Hall. Other bands we could have asked to perform were Jazzmosis, The Hikalakas, or Jub Zambra and the Cobrall Charmers. We could have asked Chomby and the Fungus Balls, but that band quit the music scene a few years back.

After the banquet, guests can receive a free copy of the band's CD as a parting gift as well as a signed mug, hat, or umbrella commonly distributed at their concerts.
9. Our desserts are coming from two of the most popular dessert locations on or off of Neopia. The first is Grundo's Café. For this final course, guests will be served some of the best treats in the galaxy. What's not going to be served during this course?

Answer: Grape Blobcicle

Gargarox the Grundo Chef will be busy packaging and serving these Virtupet delights (but definitely not baking). To be fair, the Grape Blobcicle is not from Virtupets, but it's still not made on Neopia. Instead, it's served up on Kreludor. If you want a little more info on our head dessert chef, Gargarox spends his free time facing off against his opponents in the sport of Gormball.
During this course, Virtupets won't be the only region in the spotlight...
10. The second location with the spotlight during the desserts course is Terror Mountain which is home to numerous wintry treats. Since the last of the food is coming from Terror Mountain, which of these is not going to be eaten (or drank) during this final course?

Answer: Mint Kiko Swirl

Mint Kiko Swirl is only served in Kiko Lake, but everything else is in Terror Mountain. Visitors to Terror Mountain can always visit the Slushie Shop in Happy Valley, the Neggery in the Ice Caves, or the Super Happy Icy Fun Snow Shop for a snowy treat. Seeing as all of this area has to do with ice cream (it even has an ice cream cart) slushies, and snowy foods, it's fitting to serve up some local fare for our guests' final course.

After a successful dinner service, our guests will be not only stuffed, but they'll have experienced many of the best dishes Neopia has to offer. Well done on making the best banquet Neopia has ever had! :)
