While most of the ponies were scared of the Everfree Forest and its creepy trees, Pinkie knew the correct response: laughter. She showed the others that by laughing, and showing that you're not afraid, scary things become a lot less scary. It is fitting that Pinkie Pie's Element of Harmony would be Laughter.

Answer: Fluttershy

In the Everfree Forest, the ponies accidentally wandered through a patch of Poison Joke. The poisonous plant affected each pony differently. Pinkie Pie got a swollen tongue, and couldn't speak or sing (which was especially difficult for the talkative pony). Fluttershy, on the other hand, did not want to speak at all; her voice had become very deep, earning her the nickname "Flutterguy". Because Pinkie wasn't able to sing, she got Fluttershy to sing for her, while Pinkie did the dance part.

Answer: Rarity

Rarity had a knack for making very nice and stylish clothes, which she did for all her friends. Her friends had different ideas, though, and asked for many special changes to their outfits. When the ponies debuted their new outfits at the fashion show, the response was less than stellar. The ponies realized that they should just trust Rarity when it comes to fashion.

Answer: The Cutie Mark Crusaders

The Cutie Mark Crusaders were the younger ponies who formed a club to help each other get their cutie marks. The three put together a disastrous talent show performance as their first act. Scootaloo was the lead singer, even though Sweetie Belle had a natural talent. Sweetie Belle instead constructed the stage, even though Apple Bloom was the one who knew how to build things. Lastly, Apple Bloom decided to choreograph the show, even though that was Scootaloo's specialty.

All the older ponies could see which area each filly should have focused on, but the Crusaders were determined. After their show fell apart, they were embarrassed, but their spirits picked right back up when they won the award for best comedy.

Answer: Applejack

In the song "At the Gala", each pony sang about her expectations of the evening. Fluttershy wanted to see all the animals in the gardens. Rainbow Dash wanted to meet her idols, the Wonderbolts. Rarity wanted to meet Prince Charming.

Applejack brought a whole bunch of apple pastries to sell. She sold her first pie to a hungry Wonderbolt, but no one wanted to buy her stuff after that. The Grand Galloping Gala was not what Applejack had hoped it would be, the same as all her friends.

Answer: Rainbow Dash

All the ponies had their own pets, except Rainbow Dash. She was getting a little envious, and started looking for an awesome pet to match her awesome style. She asked Fluttershy, who knew all the animals, to help her find the perfect pet. Rainbow Dash looked at many pets before she decided to host a race to determine the best pet for her.

Answer: The Flim Flam Brothers

The Apple family made their famous apple cider every year. Ponies would line up early so they could buy some. The Apples could only make so much cider so fast, and many ponies had to live without it.

Then, along came the entrepreneurial brothers, Flim and Flam, with their automatic cider making machine. They sang about how the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 could create cider even faster than the Apple family, and every pony could have some.

Answer: Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie was responsible for keeping the mood in Ponyville light and happy. In the few cases when she wasn't around to do her part, ponies were often shown to be angry or sad.

In "A Friend in Deed", Pinkie was determined to lighten the grumpiest new resident of Ponyville, Cranky Doodle Donkey. The episode opened with Pinkie singing "The Smile Song" before Cranky arrived.

Answer: Twilight Sparkle

When Twilight Sparkle was younger, she didn't have a whole lot of friends. She was more into books and school. But she did spend a lot of time with her older brother, Shining Armor.

In "A Canterlot Wedding", Twilight received a wedding invitation, saying her brother was getting married. She had not seen Shining Armor for quite a while, but remembered all the fun times she had spent with her Big Brother Best Friend Forever.

Answer: Queen Chrysalis

Queen Chrysalis was the queen of the changelings, which were scary looking ponies that could change to look like any other pony. Queen Chrysalis changed herself to look like Princess Cadence, the bride of Shining Armor, and locked the real Princess in the dungeon.

This was all part of her plan to weaken Canterlot's defences so her army could attack. Queen Chrysalis sang about her plans in "This Day Aria", while the real Princess Cadence sang about getting back to the stallion she loved.
