1. What did Tracy want to be in the play?

Answer: A ghost

She was desperate to be a ghost and didn't think about the main part (Scrooge) at all! Louise was chosen as the ghost of Christmas Past, Freddy was chosen as the ghost of Christmas Present, Philip as the ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Justine was chosen as Marley's Ghost.

2. What did Tracy sing everywhere she went, even in the bath?

Answer: Her Mum's letter

She sang every word, and the punctuation too. She jokes that she should be a famous songwriter as well as a famous novelist. Tracy's Mum was meant to visit her for the summer but she didn't show, so she wrote her a letter to say sorry.

3. What did Tracy do to make sure her wish came true?

Answer: Made a potion

She saw a book by a "White Witch", Grizelda Moonbeam. Though Tracy decided that she would be a black witch! She made the potion, but had to swap some of the ingredients.

4. Where did Cam take Tracy on Christmas Day?

Answer: Ice-skating

They walked to get there and it was so cold, Cam lent Tracy her scarf and hat. After ice-skating, they had hot chocolate, then went home. Tracy wanted her potion to work for her mum, but as it said "for a special person", she figured it might actually be someone already in her life: Cam.

Tracy stuck little labels on the presents with clues for what they could be! She wanted her to open them before her performance of "A Christmas Carol", so her Mum would know to come.

Tracy made the chips herself, and Cam helped her fry the eggs. Tracy thought she could be an actress, or a writer or a chef. She'd call her egg and chips meal her "Cam Christmas Special".

Justine tripped over her own costume, but Tracy saved the day because she said "Is that you, the ghost of my old friend and partner, Marley? It must be, you were as unsteady on your feet back then too!"

Mrs Darlow DID make Tracy quit the play, but then she changed her mind again, because Peter submitted his petition. He had asked people to sign it, to make Tracy play Scrooge again in the school production. Mrs Darlow asked Tracy to polish the Hall floor (by hand!) even though they had an electric polisher!

Unfortunately not - but Tracy and Cam didn't mind! Cam decided not to go home for Christmas, so Tracy stayed with her. Even though Tracy was let down by her mum, she didn't care because she had Cam, and she truly cared about her.
