Answer: Goliath

You can find the story of David and Goliath in the book of I Samuel chapter 17. David was a little boy, and Goliath was a big giant. However, David knew with God's help he could beat the giant. He used 5 stones and the fifth one hit Goliath in the head and knocked him out. David then cut off his head.
2. What was the name of the baby born in a manger?

Answer: Jesus

You can read about the birth of Jesus in Luke 2:1-20. Christians believe Jesus came to be the Savior of the world.
3. Who built the ark?

Answer: Noah

You can read about Noah and the ark in Genesis 5-10. God decided to flood the earth because He didn't like the evil way people behaved. Noah was considered by God to be a good man so his family was spared.
4. Whose father gave him a multi-colored coat to wear?

Answer: Joseph

All of these were Jacob's sons, but it was Joseph to whom he gave a coat. You can read about Joseph in Genesis 37. Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, but Joseph never turned his back on God. He was eventually rewarded by being the Pharaoh's (a Pharaoh is like a king) second in command.

Answer: Mordecai

You can read about Esther in the book of Esther. Esther helped save the Hebrews from being killed.
7. Who was the king that threw Shadrach, Meschack and Abednego into the fiery furnace?

Answer: Nebuchadnezzar

You can read about these three in the book of Daniel 1-3. Shadrach, Meschack and Abednego refused to bow down to an idol because they knew it was wrong. They knew their God wanted them to worship only him. This made Nebuchadnezzar mad so he threw them into a fiery furnace. However, God protected them and they did not burn.
8. The Bible tells us God created the world. How many days did he do this in?

Answer: 6

You can read about creationism in Genesis 1. The Bible says God created the world in six days and then rested on the 7th.
9. This man led people in Jericho where he made the walls fall down in an unusual way. Who was he?

Answer: Joshua

You can read about the Battle of Jericho in Joshua chapter 6. God instructed Joshua and his people to walk around the wall 6 times blowing a trumpet. Then on the 7th day he ordered them to yell really loudly. When they yelled the walls fell down.
10. Who walked on water but then fell because he stopped trusting Jesus?

Answer: Peter

You can read about Peter walking on the water in the book of Matthew 14:22-33. Jesus walks on water out to the boat but when Peter tries to walk to him his faith slips and he can no longer walk on the water.
