Answer: Digory climbs the garden wall separating their houses.

Before they met, Digory had been crying because his mother was ill, and his father was away in India. Also he had been torn away from his beautiful home in the country and sent to London to stay with his aunt and uncle. When Polly and Digory meet they both think that the other's name is funny.
2. What color is the ring that takes people out of this world?

Answer: yellow

Green brings people back, and there are no brown and blue rings.
3. What are the rings made of?

Answer: Dust from Atlantis

The dust was brought from Atlantis when our world was just beginning. By that time Atlantis was already a great city even though our world was not very old.
