The Prophecy of the Stones Trivia Quiz

Every once in a while throughout the book, there is a short chapter about Joa and what's going on in her life. Joa has dreams about the three girls while she is in the hospital.

Opal discovers her stone in her aunt's bedroom one day when she was looking for something to paint. She unlocks the drawer it was in, and pulls it out of its purse, but she got a strange feeling from it. You also find out that she got headaches regularly ever since she found it.

Fairytale is a place where the Council of Twelve cannot go. It has lots of magical creatures there, and the Army of Light assmbles there as well.

Neophileus wrote the prophecy centuries before. The prophecy is as follows:

"From the shadows will come the Chosen One
To unify the Realm
And lead it into the light
As a King who must not reign,
Crowned in the name of the Gift.
Three Stones, three young girls:
One will discover the Gift.
One will recognize the King.
One will convince the two others to die.
Of three Stones only one fate will remain."

Answer: Opal

Opal discovers the Gift (Hope) at the assembly of the Army of Light. Amber also recognizes the King at this point.

Answer: Elyador

Elyador (The Nameless One) had lost his memory and was on a quest to find out his name and about his past. He used to be a soldier of Darkness, but when he lost his memory he was no longer a soldier and turned out to be the Chosen One that everyone had been waiting for.

The girls were very cautious about the others, because when they each recieved their Stones, they were told that the other girls were enemies. It turned out that they became good friends.

Answer: Because no one loved her.

Jade, Opal, and Amber were instructed to go and try to get Death to go back to work, so people who were dying would't have to suffer. Once they got there, Death said that nobody loved her, and that her strike would make everyone happy.
The girls had to explain that death was a natural part of life, and although they may fear it, it was something everyone had to deal with.

At first, Adrian though that he loved Jade, but later he finds out that he loves Opal. Later, you figure out that Amber and Elyador love each other too. :-)

At the end, the Thirteenth Councilor had the girls trapped, and they could see the battle below them. The Army of Light was losing fast, and the girls tried to throw their Stones out ot the window, but they were a part of them, and they wouldn't leave their hands. Jade convinced them to jump out of the window, so their Gift would be scattered over the battle, and they did, but the birds of prey caught them, and they lived.
