1. What is the name of the boy who is the main character in these books?

Answer: Tim

Tim must have had a very mixed up childhood. He spent most of his time hanging around with talking cats and invisible people. Arun is Tim's friend. He is one of the normal people.

2. What is the name of the black cat in this series of books?

Answer: Tobias

Tobias can ride a broomstick and is friends with Melinda the safe witch. Tobias can talk. Tim first sees Tobias in a book in his attic. When he returns to his room Tobias is waiting on the bed.

3. What is the name of the little grey cat?

Answer: Sebastian

Sebastian can ride a broomstick as well, though he is not as good as Tobias. Sebastian is a son of one of Tobias's friends. He cannot talk.
