Yogi got his own show in 1961 called the "Yogi Bear Show". He lives in Jellystone Park, which is based on the real Yellowstone National Park. He and his good friend Boo Boo try to steal picnic baskets from campers in the park. This makes Park Ranger Smith pretty upset! Yogi has been a guest on many other television shows and commercials.

2. You go to the aviary where the birds are located. There is a bird there who looks at you and says "Beep Beep". A sign says he is safe from Wile E. Coyote. Who is this bird?

Answer: Road Runner

The Road Runner appears along with Wile E. Coyote in the "Looney Tunes" series. They live in the desert and the coyote uses all kinds of ideas, and packages from ACME, to catch the road runner. The bird, however, manages to escape and enjoys the chase. He loves to say "beep beep" and scare the coyote before racing away. They have been on many television shows since 1949.

3. You head to the big cat area. You are very surprised because one of them is PINK and is walking around in time to some nice music. What kind of animal is this stylish cat?

Answer: Panther

The Pink Panther started on television in 1969. He is colored pink and has a long snake-like tail and big yellow eyes. He is tall and skinny and doesn't say anything but walks to the beat of his own song (written by Henry Mancini). He has a special friend who is a policeman called The Inspector. The Pink Panther has been on many television shows and some movies.

4. You then go into the section of the TV zoo holding deer. You see a moose who starts talking to you. At first, he does not seem very smart but he is funny and he tells you he lives in Minnesota and his best friend is a squirrel! Who is he?

Answer: Bullwinkle

Bullwinkle first came on television in 1959. He shares a house with his best friend, a squirrel named Rocky. He is known for having very good intentions and people often think he's not so smart. But then he helps Rocky defeat a villain named Boris and people realize he is rather clever. He has a special skill that he can remember everything he ever ate!

5. You go to the section featuring various rabbits. One gray one stands up, starts eating his favorite vegetable, and says to you "Eh, what's up, doc?" Who is this?

Answer: Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny started his television career in the 1940s and is known for being in cartoons by "Looney Tunes" and "Merrie Melodies". He is a gray rabbit with a relaxed personality and a strong accent. He loves to chew a carrot and run away from a hunter named Elmer Fudd.

He likes to talk directly to the television audience when he can. He is an extremely popular rabbit and has been in cartoons, television shows, and movies.

6. You jump into the special reptile house. One of them tells you his name is Franklin and that he is seven years old. He wonders if you like his shell and he hopes you can meet his parents and friends. What kind of reptile is he?

Answer: Turtle

Franklin stars in a television show called "Franklin" that came out in 1997 and is based on a series of books. He is 7 years old, big brother to Harriet, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Turtle. He has many friends, can count by twos, and loves learning new things. His turtle shell is yellow and brown and he wears a red kerchief around his neck. He has a pet goldfish and a stuffed animal dog.

7. You go to the elephant section next. You notice one is wearing a green suit and has something on his head a king would wear! He speaks a little to you and has a French accent. He tells you about his times in the city and his friend Celeste. Who is he?

Answer: Babar

The television show about Babar is based on a series of French books written starting in 1931. Babar was very sad his mother died and he ran away from the jungle to go to a city. He meets all kinds of friends and people who help him and he learns about how humans act.

He goes back to his home and is made king of the elephants. He is very shy and does not talk much and loves to wear a green suit, shoes, and a crown.

8. You go to the primate center. One television animal quits leaping around long enough to tell you his name is Zoboomafoo and he loves his human friends Chris and Martin Kratt. What kind of animal is he?

Answer: Lemur

Zoboomafoo is a lemur puppet that stars in the show "Zoboomafoo". It started in 1999 and is about two brothers in a place called Animal Junction. When Zoboomafoo shows up and is given a snack (such as a sweet potato) he will then start talking. He and his friends teach the television audience about different animals.

He is very funny and has problems with power tools. Some of his friends include an elephant, a barn owl, a snow leopard, and penguins.

9. You go to the aquarium section to see animals swim. One comes up to you and everyone says his name is Flipper. He makes clicking sounds where he's trying to tell you he has helped catch criminals. True or False: Flipper is a whale.

Answer: False

Flipper is a bottlenose dolphin that was in the television show called "Flipper" starting in 1964. He is a wild pet of a Florida park ranger named Porter Ricks and his sons Sandy and Bud. Flipper is very smart and often helps the humans protect the park and other animals from villains.

He could fight sharks and warn people about upcoming danger. Flipper could do stunts and was awarded a special Top Performing Animal Star.

10. You go back to the big cats area. A friendly one comes up to you and says "I'm Tigger. T-I-double Guh-Er!" He says he is friends with a bear named Winnie the Pooh. What is Tigger's favorite way to get around?

Answer: Bounce

Tigger is based on the Winnie the Pooh stories and was a stuffed tiger owned by Christopher Robin. As a character, he has orange and black stripes, a long chin, and gets around by bouncing! He says "Bouncing is what Tiggers do best." He first appeared in 1968 in a Disney show.

He is loving and friendly and sometimes gets into mischief. He is also proud he is the only "tigger" in the world!
