Since Eve is the first woman she is said to be the mother of all the living people.
2. Cain is the first son of Adam and Eve. He murdered his brother Abel. What could his name mean?

Answer: Acquire

"Cain was a tiller of the ground."
Genesis 4:1,2.

Cain's occupation must have been that of a farmer.
3. Abel was killed by his brother, Cain, because Cain was jealous of Abel's sacrifice. What does Abel mean?

Sarah had laughed when she overheard that the Lord was planning to give them a child. That must have been why the child was named Isaac which, you know now, means Laughter.

Genesis 25:25.

There are some parents who have a favorite among their kids, in the same way here, Isaac loved Esau more. Esau was a hunter. Rebekah favored the younger twin, Jacob.
