Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Actress Cindy Williams wrote an article against military pay raises.

Answer: False

Simply a case of mistaken identity. Whilst a Cindy Williams did write an article on the subject for the Washington Post, it was not the Cindy Williams of "Laverne & Shirley".
2. A pen with a finely-crafted white star was created for Hitler, by a Jewish person, so that he would always carry the Star of David.

Answer: False

The pen had been manufactured since 1914, which was long before Hitler came to power.
3. If you find a defective state quarter, you could get a large prize from the U.S. mint.

Answer: True

A small number of quarters from Pennsylvania, Delaware & Connecticut have the tails side upside down. If you find one of these and return it to the U.S. mint you will receive an undisclosed reward.
4. Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine.

Answer: True

We'll never know how much cocaine was actually in it, but it is a fact that it once was. By 1902, there was 1/400 of a gram per ounce of syrup. It wasn't until 1929 that Coca-Cola became cocaine free.
5. A topless woman can be spotted in Disney's "The Rescuers".

Answer: True

The movie was recalled from home video in 1999, because of the newly discovered objectionable image. Don't worry about warping your children's minds. The image is only visible if you go through the movie frame by frame, and look for it.
6. A cast member at Walt Disney World, dressed as one of the 'Three Little Pigs', molested a woman.

Answer: False

A woman did file this claim in court, saying that the cast member came up to her and started grabbing her breasts. The case was dropped however when the costume was showed to have no hands, which falsified her testimony.
7. George W. Bush declared June 10 to be 'Jesus Day'.

Answer: True

While governor of Texas, the soon-to-be President declared June 10th to be a holiday honoring Jesus.
8. Tom Green dressed up as Hitler and barged into a bar mitzvah.

Answer: True

Wayne McLaren, a Marlboro man in 1976, died of lung cancer at age 51.
11. Steve Burns, host of "Blue's Clues", died of a heroin overdose.

Answer: False

12. Graham crackers were invented to suppress sexual desires.

Answer: True

Reverend Sylvester Graham created it as some odd anti-aphrodisiac.
13. A single lightbulb has been burning since 1901.

Answer: True

14. If you swallow chewing gum, it doesn't pass through the digestive system for seven years.

Answer: False

Science proves that after gum passes through the alimentary canal it's the same as any other product we swallow.
15. CD purchasers can go to a website and claim money in a price-fixing lawsuit.

Answer: True

Anyone who purchased a CD from 1995 to 2000, could have claimed $20 as part of a price-fixing settlement filed in 41 states.
