Cate was born in Melbourne in 1969. Her achievements include winning an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her performance in the 2004 movie "The Aviator". She also won two Golden Globe awards for her performances in "Elizabeth" (1998) and "I'm Not There" (2007).

In 2008 she was selected by the Australian Prime Minister to be one of only twelve members of the "steering committee" in the Australia 2020 summit. Naomi Watts and Olivia Newton-John were both born in the UK and moved to Australia when they were 14 and six respectively. Nicole Kidman was born to Australian parents in Hawaii and moved to Australia when she was four years old.

The movie featured many ABBA hits including "Dancing Queen", "Mama Mia" and "I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do". Stars of the film included Toni Collete as Muriel (who gained around 18 kilograms for the role) and Rachel Griffiths as Rhonda.
