Melbourne is situated in the south of Victoria, which is located south east on mainland Australia. It is Australia's second most populous city after Sydney. Melbourne was first settled and established in 1835 by John Batman. The city was named after former British Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne.

Answer: Rod Laver Arena

Rod Laver Arena is located in Melbourne's Olympic Park and is named after the famous Australian tennis player. The tournament is the first of the four tennis Grand Slams and is held in January of each year.
