4. Quetzalcoatl was a god of what people?

5. What is the most popular name for pet goldfish?

Answer: Jaws

6. As of August 2001, what was the last name in the Victoria, B.C. section of its phone book?

Answer: Zazu Zyzzy

P. Zzzzyzyton is the last name in the Metro Vancouver phone book.
7. Oplopanax Horridus is the Latin name of what living thing?

Answer: Devil's Club

They're called that because of the thorns, supposedly poisoned, on their stems. Oplopanax Horridus is Latin for 'horrible weapon'.
8. How many locks are there in the St. Lawrence Seaway?

Answer: 19

The St. Lawrence Seaway has many locks so boats can get around. Without them, the difference in water level amongst the Great Lakes would be too great for travel. Assuming, of course, you want your boat to sail away in one piece.
9. The space shuttles Discovery and Endeavour are named after what?

Answer: Ships of Captain Cook

10. Which of these is NOT a town in Portugal?

Answer: Merida

Merida is in Spain.
11. Indian airs, supermans, and truck drivers are found in what sport?

Answer: BMX Freestyle

BMX Freestyle also features tricks like decades, flares, double backflips, and really, really crazy stuff that no right-minded person would do without a Playstation controller.
12. Earth is of what shape?

Answer: Pear-shaped

One theory of how Earth got its moon is that a huge object crashed into it, sending a giant chunk of rock into orbit. This may be how Earth got this shape.
13. What are the actual names of our sun and moon?

Answer: The Sun and The Moon

Bland names like the HD40982 stuff I threw in are what scientists name most other stars. While unromantic, it has the bonus of being standard amongst astronomers, who often use standardized star catalogs based on a star's position in the sky. Some companies offer to name a star after you, but buying their service will not change this official designation that astronomers use.
14. What was William Shakespeare's dad's name?

Answer: John Shakespeare

John Shakespeare's name was first recorded in Stratford public records when he got arrested for having a dunghill in his front yard.
15. What alphabet was the modern symbol for X first in?

Answer: Greek

The Hebrew alphabet had an X sound but the symbol wasn't adopted until the western Greeks used it as the letter Xi.
