During her life (1907-1954) Kahlo was most often recognized as the wife of Diego Rivera, renown Mexican muralist. She gained international fame on her own in the 1980s, mostly with her self portraits.

In 2001 Kahlo became the first Hispanic woman to be featured on a U.S. postage stamp. Her life was chronicled in the movie "Frida" by director Julie Taymor ("Titus", "Across the Universe").

Scientific studies are split as to whether or not this practice works. While people may receive short term benefits from a drink the day after, hangover symptoms may get worse when the alcohol is broken down by the liver.

There must be something to the practice, as many cultures have similar sayings.

A teratoma is one of the strangest tumors known. It can be located almost anywhere in the body, and usually contains cells from all three germ layers of the body (endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm). They are thought to be present at birth, and are not often diagnosed until a secondary problem develops in the same area.

They can rarely contain eyeballs or even limbs.
