Answer: Kenya

Kenya lies in the east of Africa, near what is known as the Horn of Africa. It sits to the west of the Indian Ocean and borders Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Somalia. 3. In which Asian country, starting with M, can you find the Petronas Twin Towers?

5. Which of these countries was the birthplace of the prince who became known as Buddha?

Answer: Nepal

However, its diverse geography also includes savannahs, pine forests and large lake areas.
6. Oman is geographically and politically considered to be part of Africa.

Answer: False

7. Which of these countries, known for its often rugged terrain, is closest to Australia?

Answer: Papua New Guinea

Perhaps its most famous area is the Kokoda Track, a 60km single-file trail accessible only by foot that hosted a World War II battle between Japanese and Allied troops. 8. Of the following, which is the only country NOT to be considered geographically part of North, South or Central America?

Answer: Palau

Palau lies in the Pacific Ocean; while it was once a U.S. administered island, it became an independent republic nation in 1994. Palau experiences a tropical climate, with significant rainfall (about 150 inches per year). It is also home to saltwater crocodiles that make their homes in the many mangrove areas.
9. What is the name of the 'Q' country whose only land border is with Saudi Arabia?
