Answer: Warren

The rather famous border between Detroit and Warren is Eight Mile Rd. Eminem is from Warren which is an industrial town and bedroom community north of Detroit.
2. In what Detroit suburb is Ford Motor Company's World headquarters?

Answer: Dearborn

Dearborn is also the site of the world famous Henry Ford Museum, which includes many artifacts from recent modern history and the history of various types of transportation in the U.S., and Greenfield Village, which is an outdoor museum of sorts where many places such as the Wright brothers' bicycle shop have been moved or recreated.

Beverly Hills, much like its namesake in California, is an affluent area where home values are high. Berkley (no that's not a spelling mistake, that's how it is spelled on this side of Lake Michigan) is a small community with a cute downtown area and middle class homes. Oakland is not only the name of the city across the bay from San Francisco, but also a county in Michigan.

But wait, we're not talking about counties in Michigan, are we? Oakland is also a township located in the county of the same name.
7. Which suburb west of Detroit is the location of both the first K-mart in the world and the first Little Caesar's?

Answer: Garden City

Garden City is a small middle class city west of Detroit. Mike Ilitch, the founder of Little Caesar's and the owner of baseball's Detroit Tigers and hockey's Red Wings, opened his first Little Caesar's in 1959. The first K-mart (its name refers to the company's Kresge dime stores that preceded K-mart) store opened in Garden City in 1962.
8. Which Detroit suburb do the Ontario Hockey's League's (OHL) Whalers call home?

Answer: Plymouth

The Plymouth Whalers are owned by Peter Karmanos, CEO of Detroit based Compuware and owner of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes.

Detroit Metro airport is about a 20 to 30 minute drive West along 1-94 from downtown Detroit in the sparsely populated but developing city of Romulus.

Answer: Belle Isle State Park

Travelling over the MacArthur Bridge will land you on an island called Belle Isle State Park, a 982 acre island owned by the city of Detroit. It's leased by the Michigan government. Facilities on the island include a zoo, beach, yacht club and conservatory.
