Answer: Liffey

The Liffey was originally a very wide and shallow river until its bank were narrowed and raised so ships could pass.
2. What is the name of the park that contains many buildings, including the President's house and the Dublin Zoo?

Answer: Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is the largest walled park in Europe. Hyde Park and Regents Park are in London, England.

Dun Laoghaire is known more as a boat yard and yacht club but the HSS fast ferry goes from there to Holyhead in Wales.

Lambay Island is a small Island off the North coast of Dublin. Achill Island is much larger but is off the coast of Mayo in the west.

Answer: St. Stephen's Green.

St. Stephen's Day in Ireland is celebrated on the 26th of December. St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland.

Answer: False

The GAA (Gaelic Athletic Assosiation) league matches are played in Parnell Park. Champion matches are played in Croke Park, an 80,000 seater stadium.
