Williamsburg, Virginia is a tourist town 45 minutes away from Norfolk. Baltimore and Philadelphia are large cities north of the general area of the Bridge-Tunnel.
2. Which city is NOT the capital of its state/province/department?

Answer: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta, Canada, not Calgary. Calgary was established in 1875.
3. In which Mexican city were there a lot of gas explosions in 1992? It is the capital of Jalisco.

Answer: Guadalajara

There were a lot of explosions in the sewer system of Guadalajara, Mexico. In the tragedy, 252 people were killed.
4. Which city is NOT in Nicaragua?

Answer: Las Vegas

Las Vegas is an American city in the state of Nevada. Managua is the capital of Nicaragua. Boaco is found in Central Nicaragua. Altagracia is an island city.
5. Which NASCAR driver was NOT born in North America?

Answer: Juan Pablo Montoya

Gordon, Smith, and Kenseth were all born in the United States. Montoya was born in Colombia, therefore he was born in South America.
6. Is the United States the only North American country to have a city called San Jose?

Answer: No

San Jose is an important city in Costa Rica, which is also in North America, as well as a city in Mexico (among others). The US San Jose is located in California. The name 'San Jose' is found in some other countries outside of North America as well.
7. Which of these cities is NOT located in North America?

Answer: Turin

Dallas is in the United States, Thunder Bay is in Canada, and Oaxaca is in Mexico. Turin is an Italian city.
8. Which North American city does not share a name with a city on or relatively near the Mediterranean Sea?

Answer: Alamo

Athens, Rome, and Cairo are all capital cities of countries on the Mediterranean Sea, and they are also cities in the U.S. state Georgia. Alamo is also in Georgia, but it does not share a name with any European cities.
9. According to the International Date Line, the westernmost point on land is in North America.

Answer: True

The point furthest west according to the International Date Line is Attu Island in Alaska, U.S.A. Even though this island lies in the Eastern Hemisphere, it is still east of the International Date Line, and the question asked about the irregular path of the Date Line.
10. Which of these U.S. cities does not have the same first two letters as the state it lies in (for example, "Or"egon City, "Or"egon)?

Answer: Cincinnati

Minneapolis is in Minnesota. Indianapolis is in Indiana. New Milford is my hometown and there is one in New Jersey and New York. Cincinnati is in Ohio.

Although there are other New Milfords, their existence is irrelevant to this question.
