Answer: Blue Jays

They won back-to-back World Series in 1992 and 1993.
2. Where does the Toronto major league baseball team play?

Answer: Rogers Centre

Previously known as the Skydome this stadium was completed in 1989 and the Blue Jays moved in mid-season. It has a retractable roof and is a very nice stadium.

Answer: Railways

Canadian National Railway came up with the idea for the tower to facilitate media broadcasts in the Toronto area. It was also to be a symbol of Canadian industry and of the Railway company itself.

Completed in 1976 the tower stands at a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches). It is a major tourist site, but also serves as a radio transmitter, giving the Toronto area very good reception. If you're ever in town you must go up the tower. The view really is quite amazing.

In the 1990s, different regional governments took over sections of the road, renaming parts of them. Therefore it's not considered one long road and the record of longest road in the world was handed to the Pan-American Highway.

The Leafs were at Maple Leaf Gardens until a few years ago. The Gardens were the oldest NHL arena still used, and so the Leafs moved into the brand-new Air Canada Centre (ACC), which was renamed Scotiabank Arena in 2018.

The airport is not actually located in Toronto, but in Mississauga, a suburb.

Answer: York

During the War of 1812, the Americans burned York. In response the Canadians (British) burned the White House (it was blue at the time, but was repainted white).
