Answer: Main Campus

It's called that because it's right at the intersection between Main and Bailey.
2. In the 1990s, the main program which was on the South Campus was:

Answer: School of Medicine

When the North Campus was built, most of the departments eventually migrated to the North Campus. However, the School of Medicine stayed because of its proximity and easy transportation to a number of hospitals in the city.
3. The pillars at Lake LaSalle are from where?

Answer: Old Federal Reserve

When the old Reserve Bank in Buffalo was being torn down, someone at UB decided to ask for the pillars. Years later, when the North Campus was being built, the pillars were moved to their new home overlooking Lake LaSalle.

Answer: Ooz Fest

For those who answered Spring Fest, that's the time in the Spring towards the end of the semester where bands come and play.
5. What controversial speaker offered to waive his usual speaking fee in order to give a talk to students in 2002?

Answer: Bill Clinton

The students had wanted the former President to speak, but the administration said that it was impossible because of his huge speaking fee. Clinton's office was contacted and he offered to waive the fee. The lines for the tickets (7,000 were given out) stretched on and the wait went for hours.

Answer: 4

The Main Stage, Black Box, Drama Theatre, and Screening Room.

8. Ellicott Residence Halls are commonly called:

Answer: Legoland

It's also called a few manes which I am not allowed to repeat here! But it's called Legoland because of the way the dorms look - there are overhangs everywhere and looks like something that one would make out of Legos.
9. Which former President was also a former President of the University?

Answer: Millard Fillmore

Grover Cleveland's summer home was on Grand Island, not too far from Buffalo.
10. Who was the first President of the University in history to still be at his job a year after the faculty voted 'no confidence' in him?

One other President had had a 'no confidence' vote before Greiner, but that man resigned because of that vote.
