Answer: Theodora

Theodora was co-empress alongside her sister Zoe from 1042. When her brother-in-law died in 1055, Theodora was seventy years old, but would not relinquish the throne. She died the following year.
2. On this day in 1787, William Herschel discovered Titania and Oberon. Titania and Oberon are moons of which planet?

Answer: Uranus

Along with Miranda, Ariel and Umbriel, Titania and Oberon make up the five major moons of Uranus out of a known 27 moons orbiting the planet. William Herschel first discovered the planet Uranus on 13 March 1781. He is also the discoverer of infrared radiation.

The strike is also known as the "Bread and Roses" strike and the "Strike for Three Loaves". The strike was the result of one mill owner deciding to reduce wages due to the new law that shortened the working week. The law had come into effect on 1 January 1912. The strike was organised by the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), which is an international union headquartered in Ohio.

According to family custom, Amelia Mary Earhart was named after her two grandmothers, Amelia Josephine Harres and Mary Wells Patton. Her mother was also Amelia but went by the shorter version of Amy.

Answer: Gas chamber

He had planted a dynamite bomb in his mother's suitcase as revenge for the way she had treated him as a child. His mother was aboard United Airlines Flight 629 on 1 November 1955 on her way to visit her daughter. The bomb went off mid-flight and there were no survivors.

His trial resulted in Colorado becoming the first state to officially sanction the use of television cameras to broadcast criminal trials.

Answer: Alan Paton

Hillary's son Peter and Tenzing Norgay's son Jamling climbed Everest together in 2003 as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the 1953 climb by their fathers.

Answer: St Paulinus II of Aquileia

St Paulinus lived from some time in the 730s to 802 AD. The Church of Cividale, near where he was born, celebrates his feast day on 2 March. After he was ordained a priest, he became master of the school he had attended in Cividale, Northern Italy.
