King George was laid to rest on February 15, 1952. Julius Ceasar implemented the Julian calendar in 45 BC.

Answer: Rudolf Hess died today in 1987

Deputy Fuehrer of Germany until May 1941, he was imprisoned in Spandau Prison after being convicted by the Nuremberg Tribunal and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was 93 at the time of his death, which was possibly suicide.

The St Velentine's Day massacre is remembered for the killing of 7 members of Bugs Moran's gang in Chicago.

Edward Teach, Bluebeard, was killed November 22, 1718, reputedly after five gunshot wounds and numerous sword stabbings. His head was removed and displayed on the bowsprit of the ship "Pearl" for all to see.
