The conflict lasted from 1337 until 1453. Joan of Arc had a number of important victories against the English. She died at age 19, burnt at the stake following her capture and conviction for witchcraft.

Answer: Influenza

Compulsory vaccination against smallpox was first introduced in England in 1852.
3. Of which organisation was General Eva Burrows the head?

Answer: The Salvation Army

Eva Burrows was born in Australia. In 1993 she hung up her hat and retired as the world leader of the Salvation Army. In 1994 she was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia.

The Treaty caused a lot of resentment among the German people. Adolf Hitler violated most of the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles.

Henry Ford revolutionized automobile production by introducing the moving assembly line. During World War 2 he mobilized his factories and produced bombers, Jeeps, and tanks for the war effort.

Answer: 38 minutes

The Anglo-Zanzibar war ended after 38 minutes when Zanzibar surrendered to Britain. Barely enough time to boil some water and have a cup of tea!
