Question 1 of 10
1. Let's start our time travel machine and head off to the "Big D" I heard a shot coming from that window, or did I? Maybe it came from that grassy knoll. All I do know is that now people are running around screaming. Let's get out of here. When was that? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Next on our stop is back in my living room, and in the year 1969. I am watching my television and I cannot believe my eyes. There is a man and he appears to be walking on the moon. Is it possible? It must be a movie! I need to remember today's date so that I can research it when I get home. Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Our next stop takes us to sunny Florida. I am looking into the sky at a huge explosion. Men and women all around me are crying, yelling and running around. It feels as if time has just stood still. This will most certainly become an important date in history. Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. I have just arrived at a beautiful location. There is a nice breeze, beautiful ocean waters, and a lush, tropical landscape. I was thinking of staying here a while, but then I saw several low flying planes heading for the coast. They all had suns painted on them and then I heard explosions and bursts of gunfire erupting not too far from here. I think it is time to get out of this place. Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. I was never too good at dates in history, but I was good with cities. Now I am in Washington, D.C. and there is a rather large crowd. I can't see who is speaking, but people are clapping and cheering and the speaker is going on about a dream he had. I guess he wants little boys and girls of all colors to get along. He must be some sort of doctor. Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Wow, I think I went pretty far back this time. I am in a field near a cliff and there are two bicycle makers by the name of Wright arguing about who gets to climb into what looks like a huge kite with a motor - or is it something else? They launch themselves off the cliff and travel above ground for about a quarter of a mile. Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Today we are travelling to the Big Apple for a little sightseeing, but when we get there, it is total chaos. Dust clouds hang over the city, people are injured, bleeding, crying, and running around in a daze of confusion. I ask somebody what happened and he just stares through me with a look of despair and mumbles something about The World Trade Center being gone. Can this be true? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. I am wandering around Washington D.C. again, just doing a little sightseeing, when all of a sudden all eyes were on a television in the window of a shopping center. The man on the screen was a disgraced president and he was resigning his office due to a scandal that rocked his administration. What a sad day for American politics! When was this? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. I am just sitting here on a bus checking out a nice, historical city when all of a sudden there is a ruckus coming from the front, near the driver. The driver is yelling at some lady and he is dragging her off the bus because she won't go sit in the back. I am not too sure why that is such a big deal because when I was a kid, the back was where all the cool people sat. But I guess she was old and tired and didn't feel like walking all the way to the back, which is perfectly understandable. What I don't understand is why she is being arrested now for where she chose to sit on a bus. Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. I have been invited to watch a live show by some guy named Ed Sullivan. Apparently he wants me to see some famous British band that is "all the rage". I watch the show and I can barely hear the music over the screaming women. Ed tells me that this is the beginning of something called a "British Invasion". Are we at war again? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Let's start our time travel machine and head off to the "Big D" I heard a shot coming from that window, or did I? Maybe it came from that grassy knoll. All I do know is that now people are running around screaming. Let's get out of here. When was that?

Answer: November 22, 1963

This was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Even though there are many theories, nobody knows for sure what happened that fateful day. Perhaps when the government opens the Warren Commission findings to the public, a huge mystery will be solved.
2. Next on our stop is back in my living room, and in the year 1969. I am watching my television and I cannot believe my eyes. There is a man and he appears to be walking on the moon. Is it possible? It must be a movie! I need to remember today's date so that I can research it when I get home.

Answer: July 20th

I am referring to the moon landing and Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. Or did he? Some people claim this is a completely fake movie production, but I have seen the original "Star Wars" and even George Lucas didn't have special effects that good. What's more, I have heard that with a powerful telescope one can see all the junk left behind on the moon.
3. Our next stop takes us to sunny Florida. I am looking into the sky at a huge explosion. Men and women all around me are crying, yelling and running around. It feels as if time has just stood still. This will most certainly become an important date in history.

Answer: December 7, 1941

This refers to the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan. Isoruko Yamamato apparently stated afterward, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." This quote has never truly been confirmed, but either way it rings true, and this disaster brought the United States into WWII.

The attack on the World Trade Center was the worst terrorist attack ever on U.S. soil. As you can imagine, it wasn't long after this incident that we were wheels down in Afghanistan.
