According to "The Pony Express in Nevada," 29 stations were constructed. Some also had lodging and other amenities. However, most were nothing more than a cabin and corral at a spring.

Answer: Fort Schellbourne

Fort Schellbourne was a substantial fort with a small civilian settlement around it. The actual name of the Pony Express station was Schell Creek.
