She joined in October 1778. She enlisted as Robert Shirtliffe. She was wounded twice. The doctors of course became aware of her sex but didn't say anything.
2. Which of these formally ended the American Revolutionary War?

Answer: The Treaty of Paris

The war ended in 1783. The Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3rd. It was signed by America and Great Britain.
3. What year did the Revolutionary war start?

Answer: 1775

The war started in 1775 and it ended in 1783. The Americans were fighting the British for independence. The Americans didn't want to be under British rule anymore.
4. Was there more than one Boston tea party?

Answer: Yes

Some of the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Indians and dumped all the tea from the British ships into the Boston Harbor. They did this because they were being taxed 3 cents per pound of tea. They did this on December 16, 1773, and again on March 7, 1774.
5. What was Nathan Hale hanged for?

Answer: Being a spy

He was hanged for being a spy. General William Howe had him executed on September 22, 1776. He was just over 20.

Answer: Tuesday

He went on his journey on April 18, 1775. He went to tell the towns that the British were coming.

Answer: 1764

Following the (expensive) French and Indian War (1755-63) the British Parliament made Americans pay taxes for imported tea, sugar and indigo.

The document was adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776.
9. What was the weapon that was used the most widely in the American Revolutionary War?

Answer: Musket

The musket was mostly used during battles and the pistol was more of personal gun.

Answer: Yes

Benjamin Franklin was a man of many talents: he was an inventor, scientist, statesman, printer, philosopher, an economist and also a musician.
