"Legally Blonde" the Musical Trivia Quiz

While venting to Paulette, Elle describes Vivienne's hair as mousy brown. She thinks that because Warner loves Vivienne, he loves her brunette hair. Therefore, Elle takes a trip to the hair salon with plans to dye her beautiful blonde hair. Fortunately, Paulette talks her out of doing that and they spend the rest of the scene singing and talking about past heartbreaks.

Paulette's beloved dog is Rufus. She loves him so much that she keeps a picture of them dressed as sailors on her hair salon station. She also fights against her ex-boyfriend, Dewey, for custody of Rufus with Elle as her attorney in Act II.

During the graduation scene, while Vivienne is introducing the valedictorian of their class, Miss Elle Woods, she quotes Act I, Scene 3 of "Hamlet". In the scene of "Hamlet" she cites, Laertes is getting advice from Polonius. He says, "To thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night and day, tho canst not then be false to any man."

When the students of Harvard inform Elle that dogs aren't allowed in class, she replies by telling them that there's no problem with that because Bruiser loves to watch "Days of Our Lives". In some later productions she says that he likes to watch various other shows, but the original version was in 2007, and only "Days of Our Lives" was on air at that time.

The saleswoman finds Elle a pretty, pink dress from Milan that she makes her try on. When Elle comes back from the dressing room, she describes the dress as "perfect" and "just my size". She then wears it on her special date with Warner Huntington III.

After Warner devastates Elle by breaking up with her instead of proposing to her, she falls into a deep stage of depression. Her Delta Nu sisters sympathize for her and try to cheer her up with her favorite magazines: "Elle" and "Town and Country".

During the trial scene, everyone in the courtroom is trying to decide whether Micos is gay or European, when Emmett comes up with the idea to try and catch him in his lie about his relationship with Brooke. He asks for his first name, then for his boyfriend's name, and without thinking Micos answers and unintentionally proves that he was lying.

Elle and her Delta Nu sisters devise a plan to sing a song for the lawyers about why she should be accepted into Harvard. This song is "What You Want". The song is interrupted however, when one of the professors stops Elle, telling her that she can't just barge in singing, and dancing, and displaying ethnic movement. Of course, after telling them her tragic love story, they fall in love with her like every else, and accept her.

Professor Callahan sings, "Happily married so she swears, to her 60 year old stud" as he is explaining the Whyndam case to his law students. He also informs them about her career as a physical trainer who is famous for making people have "tighter buns" by getting them "whipped into shape" using jump ropes and determination.

"Legally Blonde the Musical" opened on Broadway on April 29th, 2007 with a full audience. The amazing Laura Bell Bundy originated the role of Elle. Obviously, the show was a success, and closed October 19th, 2008.
