Answer: Uranus

Cronus was the son of Uranus and Gaea. Zeus is Uranus' grandson. Eros, also called "love," came out of Chaos.
2. Who are the offspring of Uranus and Gaea?

Answer: Titans

Gorgons were the offspring of Phorcys and Ceto. The Olympians were the first twelve of the "new wave" of gods and goddesses beginning with Zeus. The Furies were the winged hags of Hades who flayed the meat from the bones of their victims with metal-studded whips.
3. Who was the wife of Cronus who hid Zeus away?

Answer: Rhea

Gaea was the original "Mother Earth" and wife of Uranus. Hera was Zeus' wife. Eris, or Discord, was released by Chaos.

Rhea was the wife of Chronus. Eris and Eros were mentioned earlier.
