Answer: Ares

Ares was trapped in a pithos (storage jar) by the Aload twins. Ares shrieked for thirteen days until Hermes was sent to his rescue by Hera, who could not stand her son's screaming. Some people say Poseidon bought the release of Ares. Apollo and Dionysus were half brothers of Ares by Zeus. Kronos was the Titan of time and father of the first Olympians.
2. Who was the goddess of the night and the mother of Nemesis?

Answer: Nyx

Nyx was the goddess of night, and the mother of several deities associated with nighttime or darkness, such as Hypnos, the god of sleep, and Thanatos, the god of death. Nemesis served as the goddess of retaliation to those who were arrogant to the gods.

Athena is another Olympian. Pallas is a minor Titan who wields a spear. Therefore the name Pallas Athena means "spear wielding Athena". Mnemosyne was a Titaness who was the mother of the Nine Muses by Zeus.

Dionysus caried a thyrsus and used it as his symbol of power and weapon. A thyrsus was also carried by his crazed followers, the Maenads, who tore Orpheus to pieces after he refused to pay tribute to Dionysus out of grief for his dead wife, Eurydice.

Epaphus returned to Greece and discovered his divine parentage. He ruled in what is now Sicily. He was the ancestor of Cadmus who founded Thebes.

Orcus was a deity son of Chaos and Nyx who punished those who break theirs oaths and vows in the underworld. Hephaestus was the crippled Olympian son of Zeus and Hera. Hermaphroditus was a son of Hermes and Aphrodite who married the beautiful river nymph Salmacia. They lived on Olympus in peace.

The sea monster, Cetus, created by Poseidon, terrorized the citizens of Crete. Their Queen, Cassiopeia, had unfortunately attracted the wrath of Poseidon when she claimed her daughter was more beautiful than the Nereids, the sea nymphs who were often seen with Poseidon. Their king, Cepheus, consulted an oracle who instructed him to expose his daughter, Andromeda, to the monster, and she was chained to a rock on the seashore. Perseus killed the Cetus when he rescued Andromeda; he then claimed her in marriage.

Zeus trapped the monstrous Typhon under Mt. Etna after battling him for 15 days and nights. Hermes was never renowned for killing any monsters as he was the divine messenger.

Zeus was born in a cave by his Mother, Rhea. In turn she gave a rock bundled in babies clothes to Kronos to swallow. Rhea placed aggressive nymphs called Curetes outside baby Zeus' cave. They banged their spears against their shields created a deafening noise to drown the baby's wails.

During the Trojan War, Agamemnon captured a daughter of Apollo, Chryseis, as a war prize. Poseidon was known for his terrible temper. Thanatos was the god of death. Zeus was the king of the gods and lord of the skies

Hades was the god of the dead and the underworld. His area's boundary was the River Styx.

Tartarus is the deep pit where Kronos, Cetus, and other monsters were imprisoned. Tisiphone and Alecto were 2 out of 3 of the Furies, Hades' torturers.
