Interestingly enough, Kate McGowan proposes to Jim instead of the other way around, but the audience never finds out whether or not they actually marry.
2. Who is the first to sing at the beginning of the show?

Answer: Thomas Andrews

Andrews sings "In Every Age", a song about how Titanic was truly a "floating city".
3. What does Kate Mullins want to be in America? A "_______ _______."

Answer: sewing girl

We find this out in "Lady's Maid", where the third class sings about their hopes and dreams for America.
4. Which couple is actually married?

Answer: Edgar and Alice

By the end of the play, both Charles and Caroline and Kate and Jim are engaged to be married. Madame Aubert is Benjamin Guggenheim's mistress.

This song wraps up Act One of the musical, ending with Fleet spotting an "Iceberg, right ahead". Murdoch claims that he thinks they will miss it, the curtain closes, and a horrible scraping noise is heard.
