Answer: 'A is for Alibi'

In this first book Kinsey investigates an eight year old murder case. The murderer has already served her sentence, but was she guilty of the crime? She calls Kinsey in to find out who the real murderer was...there's a twist at the end too.

2. What were her mother and father's first names?

Answer: Rita and Randall

Rita was from a well-to-do family and Randall (AKA Randy) was a postal worker.

3. In one book Kinsey befriends Bobby Callahan, who uses her gym. He is crippled and believes someone is trying to kill him. Which book is this?

Answer: 'C is for Corpse'

This was the first Kinsey book I read and it got me hooked. You don't have to read the books in order to understand what is going on. The characters in this book are very real, and this book has quite sad moments in it.

Answer: Virginia Kinsey

Aunt Gin influenced many of Kinsey's character traits. She's the reason why Kinsey is self sufficient and prone to being a loner.

Bob is one of my favourite characters and I'd love for Kinsey and him to get together.

Mickey was a policeman and was a big influence on Kinsey. Teddy Rich is the man responsible for bringing Mickey back into Kinsey's life - he finds a box with a lot of her stuff in and he contacts her. This starts a chain of events involving Mickey. John Russell is a character in an Elmore Leonard novel - Mickey uses this name as an alias. Daniel Wade was Kinsey's second husband.

Kinsey investigates the disappearance of Dr Dowan Purcell. As usual there are great characters and a twist in the tale.
