On her first date with Ben, Claudia discovers that he shares her same lack of enthusiasm for having children. They have so much in common that they quickly fall in love and get married.

Ben and Claudia's closest friends, Ray and Annie, announce that they are expecting a baby. On Thanksgiving, they announce that they are adopting a baby from a girl that Daphne met while shopping. It was truly a perfect match and on Christmas Eve, everyone welcomes Lucas into the family.

Claudia misinterpreted her meeting with Tucker in the ER and thought she and Ben were engaged. It is finally revealed that Ben and Tucker are just friends (and running partners) and Ben justs wants Claudia back - kids or no kids.
