1. Which Aes Sedai is the sister of King Paitar of Arafel?

Answer: Kiruna Nachiman

All four are Arafellin. Kiruna is a powerful noble in her own right.

2. Which Ajah is the largest?

Answer: Red

The Green is the second largest Ajah, the Blue the second smallest.

3. And which Ajah is the smallest?

Answer: White

4. Who was head of the Black Ajah before Alviarin Friedhen?

Answer: Jarna Malari

Jarna was considered a model of virtue and all Sisters who could travel to Tar Valon for her funeral did so. Tamra was the Amyrlin Jarna killed and Sierin the Amyrlin who succeeded her, killed by the Reds but at the instigation of a Black Sister. Tarna Feir was Elaida's envoy to the Aes Sedai in Salidar, she may or may not be of the Black Ajah as well as the Red. Elaida elevated her to the position of Keeper of the Chronicles after removing Alviarin.

5. Which three Aes Sedai among Elaida's escort for Rand do we know are Black Ajah?

Answer: Galina, Katerine & Elza

In "Lord of Chaos" Katerine wonders if there are other Black sisters besides herself and Galina in the escort to accompany Rand to the White Tower. We know Elza is one such, the true loyalties of Coiren, Sarene and Erian are not known.

6. Which of the following Aes Sedai is a Mayener?

Answer: Rubinde Sedai

Rubinde is a Sitter for the Green Ajah in the White Tower, Annoura Larisen is the adviser to Berelain, the First of Mayene but is herself from Tarabon. Siuan Sanche and Rafela Cindal are both Tairen.

7. Who is considered to be the archetype of a Green sister?

Answer: Caraighan Maconar

Caraighan is credited with many achievements that even most Aes Sedai consider improbable.

Rashima personally led the Tower armies during the Trolloc Wars and was known as the Soldier Amyrlin. Cadsuane is thought to be the oldest living Aes Sedai and the most powerful until Nynaeve, Egwene & Elayne. Talene is a Sitter for the Green Ajah in the Tower but is now known also to be of the Black Ajah.

8. Who is the Mistress of the Novices in the Tower under Elaida?

Answer: Silviana Sedai

Sheriam was, of course, Mistress of the Novices before Siuan Sanche was deposed and is now Egwene's Keeper of the Chronicles. Tiana is the Mistress of the Novices among the Salidar Aes Sedai. Sereille Bagand was a previous Amyrlin, raised from the White, prior to this she had been Mistress of the Novices.

9. Who was the first Amyrlin Seat?

Answer: Elisane Tishar

Elisane and Lideine participated in the meetings which led to Elisane being appointed the first Amyrlin almost a hundred years after the Breaking of the World. Lideine rebelled and was executed for her trouble. Deane was the Blue Sister raised to the Amyrlin Seat after Bonwhin was stripped of the stole & staff. Latra Posae was an important Aes Sedai in the Age of Legends, she earned the name Shador Nor (Cutter of the Shadow) during the War of Power and died during the Breaking.
