Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "That's right, Mud Boy. Playtime's over. Time for the professionals to take over. If you're a good boy, I'll buy you a lollipop when I come back."

Answer: Artemis Fowl

A very funny action book about very modern fairy tale creatures and a twelve-year old genius who tries to steal some gold. Written by Eoin Colfer.
2. "Tom, I've a notion to skin you alive!"

Answer: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Written by Mark Twain, real name Samuel Clemens, many regard this book as one of the greatest novels ever written.
3. "Please, sir. I want some more."

Answer: Oliver Twist

Written by Charles Dickens, another classic writer, this is as good as Tom Sawyer. The book is about a poor orphan who has many adventures.
4. "It reminded me of sitting at the kids' table at Thanksgiving. Except for the fact that the places where my grandparents might sit were occupied by a Knight of the Round Table, a wizard, and the Norse god of evil."

Answer: Everworld

My personal favorite series of books that include a group of teens getting sucked into the land of myths. Written by K.A. Applegate.
5. "They have never known pain."

Answer: The Giver

This is a great book about a future world where all things that are different are erased and people do not feel emotions, such as pain. Written by Lois Lowry.
6. "All animals are comrades."

Answer: Animal Farm

A book that cleverly depicts what would happen if animals took over a barn and fell in to a corrupt government state with sleazy pigs (literally) at the head. Written by George Orwell.
7. "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye".

Answer: The Little Prince

This is the fox's secret that he tells the prince after a while. Written by Antoine De Saint-Exupery.
8. "Ralph wept for the end of innocence, and the darkness of man's heart..."

Answer: Lord of the Flies

A book about children who survive an airplane crash and try to form their own democratic society. Unfortunately this fails when many boys resort to becoming savages. Written by William Golding.
9. "In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit."

Answer: The Hobbit

The best book that J.R.R Tolkien wrote in my opinion. The eponymous hero is Bilbo Baggins.
10. "It was autumn in Venice when Victor first heard of Prosper and Bo."

Answer: The Thief Lord

A good book about orphan thief children who live in Venice and rebel against adults. Written by Cornelia Funke. That's it; I hope you enjoyed my quiz.
