Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. An outfit Jean-Claude had made for Anita, this outfit is described by Anita as a pile of black leather strips, and comes complete with six knives, two vials of holy water, a belt to attach her gun to, and knee-high boots. For what does Anita wear this outfit?

Answer: The werewolf ceremony where Richard kills Marcus

From "The Killing Dance," Anita describes this outfit as 'Barbie Does Bondage', and says she wouldn't have worn it except for all the weapons it comes with.
2. Although Anita has met Jean-Claude before the first book starts, the first time we are introduced to him is when Catherine, Monica, and Anita see him at Guilty Pleasures. What is he wearing that first night?

Answer: An old-fashioned, white, lacy shirt

From the first book, "Guilty Pleasures." While his pants are not described, the shirt is. Anita even notes that it gapes open at the neck and chest to show his cross-burn. It will be several books before Jean-Claude wears anything other than black or white.
3. Who wore an outfit that was a silver-mesh shirt and pants? It had gray, knee-high boots, and a silver thong. Anita describes it as looking like the person's body was covered in silver glitter.

Answer: Jason to Narcissus in Chains

Jason is waiting outside Narcissus in Chains for Anita, in the book of the same name. She describes the outfit as a "porngraphic space man," adding that she might have hugged him if he was dressed normally.
4. Anita has been in two weddings over the course of the books. The first is Catherine's, where she wears a pink dress with hoopskirts. The second is Larry's, where she wears a Halloween-orange dress.

Answer: False

Larry's wedding, which is at the beginning of "Incubus Dreams," does indeed have the bridesmaids in orange gowns. However, Anita is on the groom's side, not the bride's, and therefore wears a tuxedo. She does wear the pink dress in Catherine's wedding.
5. In "The Laughing Corpse," who is seen in a red suit and a green tie with a hula dancer on it?

Answer: Willie McCoy

While Zebrowski is known for non-matching outfits, Willie is even more famous for them. Anita sees him in this outfit when she goes to The Laughing Corpse to see Jean-Claude, commenting it's the most tasteful outfit she's ever seen on him.
6. When Richard and Anita go to see "Guys and Dolls," why does Anita say they look like the Bobsey twins?

Answer: They're both wearing green suits

From "The Lunatic Cafe," Anita comments that most men would look like Peter Pan in the shade of green Richard's wearing, but that it looks perfect on him. Richard's wearing a gold shirt and tie with red Christmas trees on the tie, and Anita has on a silky red shirt under her dark green business suit.
7. At the banquet for Musette and Co. in "Cerulean Sins," everyone at the banquet (not counting the bodyguards) is wearing white and/or gold, a color scheme Anita knows they negotiated about because it matches the table and decorations.

Answer: False

While all of Musette's party is in white and/or gold, Anita and Jean-Claude are both in black velvet and blue silk, while Micah is in a shade of turquoise that matches his eyes. The bodyguards, of course, are in black leather.
8. In "Blue Moon," what does Anita wear to the first lupanar? (The one where she activates the wards and burns lots of Colin's vampires into ashes.)

Answer: Black velvet shirt, leather skirt, and thigh-high leather boots

The leather pants and silk shirt are Richard's outfit for this event, and the other two are other outfits Jean-Claude sent along for Anita that she doesn't wear. She comments about the red leather strappy outfit that it might be interesting for just around Jean-Claude, but that she'd never wear it in public.
9. Near the beginning of "Bloody Bones," Anita's trying to decide what to wear for the flight to Branson. She's talking about a business suit with a short skirt that Ronnie talked her into, and comments that she liked it so much she bought it in two more colors. Which color does she not own this outfit in?

Answer: Black

Black is one of Anita's favorite colors, but she comments that she has yet to find the outfit in that color, or at least in that color with a skirt she doesn't consider too short.
10. And we'll end with an easy one. Which two characters is Anita talking about when she describes their outfits as reminding her of the sun and the moon (from "Cerulean Sins")?

Answer: Asher and Jean-Claude

This refers to Asher and Jean-Claude in their banquet finery. Asher is in gold and white, while Jean-Claude wears deep blue and black. Anita's reaction is "Yippie, skippie, I get to play with them both."
