While Harlan has gone on to achieve just as much success with his stand alone novels, he continues to write more books featuring Myron Bolitar. Although I confess that I'm not a huge fan of the Myron Bolitar series myself, the series remains hugely popular among his legion of fans. David Beck is the main character in the bovel "Tell No One", Eric Wu has appeared as an assassin in both "Tell No One" and "Just One Look" and David Baskin was the main character in "Play Dead".

Answer: David Beck

The story centres around pediatrician Dr David Beck, who discovers that his wife, whom he thought had died, may in fact still be alive. In 2006, the story was made into a French film "Ne le dis à Personne" by French director Guillaume Canet. Harlan's popularity is greatest in both his native America and in France. Will Klein is the main character in "Gone For Good" and Matt Hunter stars in "The Innocent".

Answer: 'Don't Fear The Reaper' (Blue Oyster Cult)

"Gone For Good" centres around Will Klein, who discovers that the brother he thought was dead, is in fact still alive. Throughout the story, Will makes reference to lyrics from "Don't Fear The Reaper", which strike a chord with certain events in the book.
8. What is stolen from the main character in the novel "No Second Chance"?

Answer: His baby

Published in 2003, the story begins with Dr Marc Seidman waking up in hospital after being shot to discover that his wife is dead and his baby has been kidnapped. The story then revolves around Marc trying to find his baby, while at the same time discover who tried to kill him and why.

When she shows it to him, he goes missing, thus prompting Grace to go looking for him, while unravelling some facts about her past along the way.

The other characters are: Elizabeth Parker - "Tell No One"; Julie Miller - "Gone For Good" and Rachel Mills - "No Second Chance".
10. For which of Harlan's novels did he win an Edgar award?

Answer: Fade Away

"Fade Away" won an Edgar Award in 1997 for best paperback original. Harlan has also won a Shamus Award ("Drop Shot") and an Anthony Award("Deal Breaker"). He is the first author to have won all three awards. Incidentally, all three awards were won for books from the Myron Bolitar series.
