Gil North was the pen name of Geoffrey Horne, who produced nearly a dozen Cluff adventures including "Sergeant Cluff Stands Firm" (1960)and "Sergeant Cluff Rings True" (1972). There was a British TV series starring Leslie Sands featuring Seargeant Cluff.
