Her dream is to live on Antarctica, far away from everyone else but her research (and possibly a few assistants), but most likely some news channel will offer her a job as their weather girl. One lesson they should learn: NEVER underestimate Claire.

Jake is the only one among the four with an older brother, much less a dead older brother... or a spot on the football team.

Although the Grays live comfortably off the tourists that come to the island in summer, it's hard work living in a B&B. In several books, Aisha describes washing her face and hands, then wiping the sink down afterward with paper towels. Everything must be spotless for the guests; even Aisha has to brush her hair and put on her bathrobe before leaving her room.

The Grays finally get to reclaim their house in the winter.

Christopher is a dynamo. When he's not working, he's looking for work, and when he's not looking for work, he's hunting after something else - namely Aisha. What Christopher wants, Christopher gets. Kate Levin is an artistic, romantic red-head who resembles Zoey a little too much. She's a fairly boring character until you find out she's clinically depressed. Hooray for torturing characters!

David Barnes makes a brief appearance in "Two-Timing Aisha." It's always fun to see Aisha - who's convinced that she has control over her emotions - falling for a guy in spite of herself.

Answer: Darla Passmore and Fred McRoyan

In book 5, Claire organizes a ski trip. Lucas assumes that Zoey will lose her virginity to him there; he's wrong. After he pressures her one too many times, Zoey packs up and heads back home - only to find her mother in bed with Fred McRoyan. Book 6, "What Zoey Saw," details her parents' subsequent separation - and Zoey's loss of faith in love.
