In Mia's first entry we find out about the latest thing that has made her life even more... different. Her mother is pregnant. With Mia's Algebra teacher's baby.

Mia doesn't exactly have the best time in Algebra class, so she passes the time by writing little notes in her diary- you can find them throughout all of the books.

This is a book by Arthur Herzog, and it is about 'a bunch of doctors who mess around with DNA, and they unwittingly cause an accident that makes everyone in the world lose a bunch of IQ points and start acting dumb.' Mia believes that this is a great book, and that it is horrible that it hasn't been made into a movie.

For a long time, Mia believes that it is Michael. Unfortunately for her, it turns out to be her biology partner - not a bad guy, but not the right guy.

Lily dares Mia this at the sleepover they have at Lily's house. After Mia had dropped it, Michael comes in and tells her to get down, as though he had experimented with gravity before. If the person whose car she hit had seen her, they would have known what apartment she was in, and would have been able to charge her.

Tina tells Mia this on the phone after Mia spilled her guts to the entire world on "Twenty Four/Seven". Tina is the only one who doesn't seem to be angry about something; she just freaks about how Mia said her name on TV.
